Anybody can explain the Connection between Nandi and Shiva. Almost all Shiva temples have Nandi sitting outside facing the temple.??? What I think is a symbol of the first man Shiva who started Agriculture. And This is a tribute to the Shiva. This temple is in my home town, i asked the locals why there was so much damage done to the temple, they told me some of it was done during islamic invasion and later people have damaged it to find treasure in this temple.
Sorry , but there is no sign systemic damage in this temple. We have visited this temple at least 10 times. The damage is mainly because of the environmental factors and the type of stone used here. Thank you for your feedback, Sir.
