And they don’t even know why.

@Popcorn_in_Bed Eleanor is a 1967 Ford Mustang that was modified by Carroll Shelby's company. The A/C Cobra and the GT40 were the cars he was famous for building (the former being the little 2-seater convertible you see Damon driving around in and the latter being the main race car in "Ford vs. Ferrari"), but Shelby modified A LOT of Ford Mustangs (and his company still does even today though he has since passed away - their facility is in Las Vegas near the airport right next to the freeway). All of the cars Shelby built had Ford engines in them though, which is why he worked so closely with Ford. Don't know if you have watched the 1968 movie "Bullitt" with Steve McQueen yet, but it has a 1968 normal Mustang (not modified by Shelby). However Steve McQueen and Carroll Shelby were good friends since they were both big muscle car & racing car enthusiasts. In fact Steve McQueen was in the movie "LeMans" as a race car driver about the famous race that Shelby raced in real life. There's several pictures of them together on the internet. McQueen's granddaughter Molly (who was born after Steve died) is an actress like her grandpa and has also been a spokesmodel for Ford, especially because Ford has released new Mustangs that are "Bullitt" green like in the movie. She's married to the brother of Jon Favreau (aka "Happy Hogan" from all the Marvel superhero movies).
correction: Ford built the 1967 Ford Mustang. Shelby modified it into a GT500 and Chip Fooose reimagined the 1967 GT500 Musting into "Elanore" for the movie.
I have a Nic Cage movie recommendation: Matchstick Men (2003). It's one of his best role ever. It's a Ridley Scott's film. Just a fantastic movie all around.
My fav nick cage movies of all time is Raising Arizona. It’s a cohen brothers comedy with Holly Hunter and John Goodman. It’s one of his earliest starring roles.
The car in Ford V Ferrari was a Ford GT40, Eleanor is a GT500, but they are both beautiful examples of performance engineering. Even if you don't really care about cars, when you get to the speeds of those cars and the forces they endure, you can appreciate that it's about making something really special - just look at the bodywork, the shapes are so carefully designed and manufactured, it's like an art piece.
I remember when this came out. Pretty much every police dept in the USA and even the FBI didn't want this movie to come out cause in the movie they showed you how to steal the most expensive cars around at the time.
There is one Nick Cage movie that would be right up your alley. You need to watch The Family Man. And make sure Carley is there as well as she would love it too. It's not an action movie, but more of a family/romantic/Christmas movie.
I'm sure someone else has probably said but Sphinx is Vinnie Jones who was a famous British footballer.. He was always a bit of a wild card of the game, which rolled over to him getting the tough guy roles in movies.
An amazing film directed by Angelina Jolie you have to check out is called Unbroken which is based on a true story. She did an amazing job directing the film. Her father is John Voight
Cassie, that was the perfect way to describe Nicolas Cage, he is so unique, no one could do the rolls he does. one of his earliest rolls from 1986 is Peggy Sue Got Married and he was so good in that. Good movie too. Ok, about the moth, I am the same and was freaking out for you. One of my boys once wrote the letter B on a sticky note and put it on me. Then all 3 boys said there's a bee on you and I freaked out thankfully it wasn't filmed.
A film that never gets mentioned or requested on reaction channels is 'Falling Down' from 1993. It has two great central perfomances from Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall (who I know you love). I would highly recommend it. One of the best films of the 90's that hardly anyone knows.
The Sphinx is my fav. Actor is Vinnie Jones an ex-soccer play that was known for being vicious, he broke into acting in the 90s and has been a staple in Guy Ritchie movies such as Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. He's got 105 acting credits to his name and is always fun to watch.
Gone in 60 Seconds is one of my absolute favorite movies. I've seen it at least a dozen times. One of my dream cars is Eleanor, the 1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback from this movie.
Robert Duvall is 93 at this point in time ... living legend to me. That guy that looked like Christian Slater was a thing back in the 90s. He was the lead in a couple of early 90s teen B--movies. (that's how I remember it) I liked the dude.
That movie is the definition of a masterpiece in his genre... You laugh, you cry, you feel sensual by moment, action packed family bounding... + Nicholas Cage & Angelina Joly = Nuclear Fireworks!!
I've always been into cars but this movie made me fall in love with them. I was a jr in high school when this came out and every time it's on tv, I have to watch it. There is a company in California I think it is called Factory Five that makes the Eleanor Mustang I believe they restore gen 1 mustangs then but the matching body kit to the car. And of those cars, many of the classics except for Eleanor are probably worth 60-80k and each Ferrari is worth probably 250k to probably around 1 million, I am basing that on the fact that the '63 Ferrari 250 GTO is worth around $70 million as there were only 60-63 produced from 1963-1965 and now there are only a few left. This is a really fun movie and I always loved the "lowrider" scene before the heist.
One of my favorite films from high school. At the impound scene you can see a billboard for the original gone in 60 seconds movie. Also, the opposite of inconspicuous is conspicuous. Great reaction
Robert Duval, at the end fo the movie he says "Give me 2 weeks and i'll have her floating thru the air or something". As he says that he waves his hand in the air waving it. He used the same speech picture and hand waving in "Days of Thunder".
Fun Fact: Eleanor is actually Nicolas Cages car and he wouldn't let the stunt men drive it. That is Nicolas Cage driving the Mustang. Also, I'm glad you were able to react to this movie because it's insanely rewatchable.
What other films starring Nicolas Cage would you recommend CASSIE to watch? *FACE OFF* , *CITY OF ANGELS* , and the disturbing *8MM* that will give Cassie nightmares.😂
There were quite a few "Eleanors" built for this movie, each to serve different purposes (handling, acceleration, one with a camera rig to shoot Cage driving in the car, one for the crushing scene which was just a non functional shell, & a "hero" car for looks). They also built one for producer Jerry Bruckheimer that was a barely street legal Eleanor. According to Bruckheimer, when he started it up, it shook the walls & roof of the warehouse it was in, he said he was scared to drive it. I'm sure that Cage also got an Eleanor as he is a huge car guy. But there wasn't just one Eleanor.
This was the first movie I bought on DVD, in fact I had to buy a DVD player when I got it so I could watch it. Saw it in the theater 6 times, and the sound of Eleanor starting up in the theater never failed to make my hair stand up. Every moviegoer in the showings I went to came out with a smile on their faces!
Robert Duvall was 31 years old when he played the role of Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird in 1962; I think that was his screen debut, but he didn't have much to say in that movie.
This is one of my favourite movies. Have to watch every year. And because I'm one of four brother myself, that line at the end hits me every time "brothers love is brothers love"❤
A guy I knew who worked on cars before I worked with him told me that 60 seconds to boost a car is too slow. You need to be in the car, hot wire it, and get out of there with the car in under 30, if I remember correctly. He didn't steal cars. He just worked on them for shows and other things. Legitimate stuff. Also, the villain of this movie is played by Christopher Eccleston. He played the Doctor on Doctor Who when the show was revived in 2005.
For a unique experience in watching a master actor late in their career you may want to look into watching Rober Duvall's great performance of a hermit in the movie Get Low-2009. Sissy Spacek also puts in a lovely performance with some comedic relieve from Bill Murray. Personally, i think it may be Robert Duvall's best performance but sadly very overlooked.
Sphinx is played by English football toughman/hooligan/actor (holds the record for fastest ejection in English football, 4 seconds) Vinnie Jones. He's also in "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" as well as "Snatch."
Thank you for this reaction video! Nic Cage is really a lot more than a goofy action hero though. As a dramatic actor he's been in some excellent movies; "Leaving Las Vegas", "Bringing Out the Dead", "8MM". Worth considering (TW: heavy subject matter in all 3) 😊
i’m so sad i was late to the upload 😭 this was my childhood movie. My name is from Steel Magnolia (Shelby) cause that’s where my mom named me from, but if you asked my dad, it’s from Gone in 60 Seconds. This movie made me fall in love with cars, especially old school ones.
There are a lot of good actors in this movie. Cage I can take or leave, but Robert Duvall, Tim Olyphant, Delroy Lindo, Vonni Ribisi, Will Patton, Vinnie Jones, etc. are all good.
Even a lot of the bit players went on to do a lot of good stuff. The cholo gangster was played by the guy who played Louise in the Ant-Man movies. Even the head surgeon from Scrubs makes an appearance.
@@alaneskew2664 Agreed. James Duval was funny ("People gotta eat, right?") and Carmen Argenziano as Detective Mayhew was convincing as a homicide detective trying to take down Raymond Calitri on murder charges. The slick filmography and quick cuts remind me of Armageddon (doesn't hurt that Will Patton is in both) and each was a Jerry Bruckheimer production.

As a future suggestion try three different movies with an almost identical story. 1940 "The shop around the Corner". The 1949 "In the Good Old Summertime". The 1998 "You've Got Mail". It might be fun and two of them have stars you already know and love and the third one has some stars that you will love.
When Cage was on top of his game he did a really smart thing in my book or so it seemed: he did big action blockbusters for the dough and status or whatever but alternate them with some really good character roles in a lot smaller movies. He did that for years and I think most actors would love to do that. But I can't think of any actor that has done it that well or that long. Granted, he made a string of really bad movies these last few years but he just keeps lining 'm up and working and I think his come-back era is coming. Cage is the man. 👍🏻
There's a similar German movie from 1980: " Car-napping, bestellt, geklaut, geliefert" / "Car-napping, ordered, boosted, delivered". It's more of a comedy with a bit of romance. But fun nonetheless, and dare I say, both more subtle as well as way over the top. In it the very first stolen car was... A designer Porsche. Followed by loads of luxury cars. So where "Gone in 60 seconds" got its newer script from is quite obvious to me.
A couple of movies that were very well known that Duvall was young, are the original True Grit, with John Wayne and Glenn Campbell, and Bullitt, a Steve McQueen flick
This is definitely one of my favorite car heists movies. Never gets old!! The action/comedy is so good.

correction: Ford built the 1967 Ford Mustang.
And both cars are over 60 years old and to this day you cant improve on the design, they were simple and perfect
Best REACTION EVER!
Popcorn In Bed: Revenge Of The Moth!
I remember when this came out. Pretty much every police dept in the USA and even the FBI didn't want this movie to come out cause in the movie they showed you how to steal the most expensive cars around at the time.
This reminds me of the plot of "Don' You Go Rounin' Roun To Re Ro", but with cars.
I’m so freaking pumped right now. This is one of my all-time favorite movies. ❤️
The "deadbeat brother" character was Phoebe Buffay's brother in Friends.
He was also The Medic in Saving Private Ryan
There is one Nick Cage movie that would be right up your alley. You need to watch The Family Man. And make sure Carley is there as well as she would love it too. It's not an action movie, but more of a family/romantic/Christmas movie.
I second this for sure and Carly should join her for the viewing.
Yes. Family man would be a great movie for this channel.
Family Man is how told my wife I was ready to be a family man. Got 3 great kids.
Cassie and Carly will love it.
This and "Trapped in Paradise"......I think are such fun holiday movies of his
" The moth was taken care of by a professional " too funny 😁
“OH CRAP, I LOST VISUAL!” 😭😂😂😂🤣🤣
I'm sure someone else has probably said but Sphinx is Vinnie Jones who was a famous British footballer.. He was always a bit of a wild card of the game, which rolled over to him getting the tough guy roles in movies.
"Don't worry. A moth is no more harmful than a ladybug."
"A ladybug?! AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
An amazing film directed by Angelina Jolie you have to check out is called Unbroken which is based on a true story. She did an amazing job directing the film. Her father is John Voight
You're gonna love this one ! Great soundtrack, great cast, cracking script and of course some lovely "ladies". Jolie's hair is on point in this.
The complete list of cars from Gone in 60 Seconds with some 2000 sticker prices... yeah, this is worth a heck of a lot more at retail than a measly $200k !

"Where's our man on the computer? -- Aaaah! I'm cheering for the bad guys." 🤣
He’s a terrible actor 😂
A film that never gets mentioned or requested on reaction channels is 'Falling Down' from 1993. It has two great central perfomances from Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall (who I know you love). I would highly recommend it. One of the best films of the 90's that hardly anyone knows.
Your reaction to the moth was one of the most entertaining things I've seen in a long time. That gave me a good laugh. Thank you!
😂
It’s a decent popcorn flick…you act like it’s fucking Goodfellas 😂
@@マシュードーラン- good fellas is overrated. Scarface was better
Also, I'm glad you were able to react to this movie because it's insanely rewatchable.
you're right about 2 of those things.
Ahh, back when Nick Cage did his own stunts….
Except she said she wouldn't re-watch it, lol.
My favourite part of this movie is the intro with Moby playing are a look at old photos. A fun movie.
One of my favorite movies. Watched it recently, but will gladly enjoy watching you enjoy this movie!!
Ahhhh yes, that 2000 soundtrack! What a time!! 🥰
One of my favorite movies of all time. Just a good popcorn movie.
This movie was one of my teenage favourite movies, it's just so good as what it is.
Definitely feels like the inspiration for the Fast and Furious franchise.
Really glad you took on this unicorn of a movie. Great reaction as always!
The sheriff from the mandalorian actor was Timothy Olyphant. He's also in Live free or Die hard.
“The opposite of inconspicuous” 🤣😂🤣
@@twentythreeforlife wellbrooke Rivers always been no more exciting quality stuff and just about everything he's touched has been amazing. And what's giving me a lot of life is that he appreciates says he refuses to do another Pirates movie without Johnny Depp
I’ve been subbed for idk how long now but watching you become as knowledgeable about movies and actors as you are now is awesome…
This was from back in the day when Nicolas Cage was doing movie after movie; this one has its moments but nothing that really stands out, eager to see a reaction to Face/Off somewhere down the road
You bite your tongue....this movie was awesome
we can agree to disagree@@heatison11
@@heatison11dude is a cheap remake.
Oh sweet child I laughed when you called that Ferrari a Mustang 😂
If you like Robert Duval then you should react to his film "Second-hand Lions" he made with Michael Cane. Such a fun, feelgood movie. I really think you'll love it 🙂
Underrated movie
Great movie right there!!
Robert Duvall is a legend. Vinnie Jones is very talented actor and very bad ass :) Check Eurotrip, for example.
The ferarri 250 gto alone is worth millions. Last one sold for 10 million
Your next Nicholas Cage movie should be "Honeymoon in Vegas". I'm sure you would enjoy that... or Raising Arizona, or Moonstruck
YES!!!!!!! Robert Rival was young once. One of the movies you NEED to watch is To Kill a Mockingbird. You will see a very young Robert Duval as Boo Radley.
Cassie,if you wanna know how good of an Actor Nicholas Cage can be, you need to watch Leaving Las Vegas. It would be awesome to see you and your sister Carly react to that one. Another amazing performance is Moonstruck with he and Cher. That's a romantic comedy the both of you will enjoy as well.
That moves its a 10/10
Delroy Lindo is one of my fav. actors. Loved him in "The Core"
Cage IS a national treasure! Love him and respect him so much for just loving making movies and having fun!
He also was in that movie….
He’s a terrible actor 😂
@@マシュードーラン you’re a terrible person
Robert Duvall was young in To Kill A Mockingbird (1962)… and you may remember him in Apocalypse Now (1979) & Godfather 1&2
Thanks for making my day Cassie, you're the absolute best! Face/OFF is an action movie with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta, I think you'll like it! This movie is so underrated, haven't seen it in years, one of those forgotten gems lol! Really glad you liked it, I personally prefer this movie over the Fast and the Furious franchise, meh lol! OMG, I had no idea about your son, hope he gets well soon, I'll pray for him! Hope you have a wonderful day, love and support always, you (and Carly) are the best, can't wait for the next livestream, God bless you and Carly both, and as always [snaps fingers & winks] stay classy Cassie🥰😁😉👍🙏😇🌹
She NEEDS to do Faceoff!
@@awilywolfpeak Nick Cage
Face Off is up there with The Rock
After which The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, perhaps? 😂
“Face Off” YES! The crazy priest scene in the opening makes it all worthwhile! 😂💯🔥🤙🏽
When Duvall showed up, the smile on your face.😁
Then, when the V-12 revved, the smile on your face. 😁
Movie suggestion: Lord of War 2005
Yeah that's a disturbingly truthful film but superb.
That’s a great Cage movie.
OMG moths are like the most harmless things ever 😂
@22:22 Those cars were pretty expensive but you calling Ferraris, Mustangs was priceless.
As a future suggestion try three different movies with an almost identical story. 1940 "The shop around the Corner". The 1949 "In the Good Old Summertime". The 1998 "You've Got Mail". It might be fun and two of them have stars you already know and love and the third one has some stars that you will love.
3:30 The opposite of inconspicuous would be conspicuous, cause he seems to be going out of his way to stand out
I bought the VHS as soon as it was available. Always love the opening tune run Sally up run Sally down etcetera etcetera. Damn good movie.
3:46 he was also in The Girl Next Door, and Live Free or Die Hard.
There's a similar German movie from 1980:
" Car-napping, bestellt, geklaut, geliefert" / "Car-napping, ordered, boosted, delivered".
“Oceans but with cars” may be the most accurate description of this movie I’ve heard.
