  • I am the son of a preacher man. In this video I explore my spiritual journey and progression into finding a spiritual way of life that works for me. Aiko got a higher power and I believe that we also choose our own conception of God. Be willing to stay open and ask questions and if you have any questions about how I came to have my spiritual life feel free to ask.

*The purpose of my channel is to inspire you to live the best life you can the way you choose to live it. A life with intention, passion, and clarity. I've struggled with Binge Eating Disorder, morbid obesity, relationship issues, and losing my brother to suicide. I've learned that my messes can become my successes and I hope these videos help you discover that as well.

I have had God step out for me before and give me peace in situations I should not have had any. And had him put people in my path to say things to me that I needed to hear or bless me with kindness. We are all connected. I grew up in a Catholic church and now consider myself a non denominational Christian. I don't understand why there is so much divide in christianity alone. That doesn't make sense to me. And Jesus seeked out those that were broken and kept them close. He didn't seek out perfect people. I think that is such an important part of his love. Hang out with those that aren't like you. Show the love. The bible also calls us specifically not to judge. One verse I always think of is remove the plank from your own eye before you can help remove the sawdust from someone else's. Obviously paraphrasing. I have had experience with very judgemental christians who thought they were right in the way they condemned others. I also know christians who can't stand all the hypocrisy and have gotten pushed away because of it. My personal experience hasn't been that way but I see it happen. The pastor at the online church I attend just was discussing counseling and mental health but I know there are other churches that have issues with mental illness. I definitely think people shouldn't give up on having a higher power and working to develop a personal relationship.
