    A passive-agressive personality type is never considered to be a leader. Incapable of being honest about themselves. Talent only goes so far. Belichick admired the talent and ignored the player. Addition by subtraction is sometimes required for being a great coach.

    The “simple” offense you refer to was due to Rodgers. He changed plays, and did whatever he wanted. It got much worse as he got older. No one could tell him what to do. He was all about stats and not throwing interceptions. And, look at his performance in the playoffs. Epic choking the majority of the time. Yes, he is a “Delicate Genius,” and not a winner. It’s all about him. The Packers did enough to win more Super Bowls. Rodgers held them back.

    • @Kamisama23
      @Kamisama23 4 месяца назад

      He didn't start to ignore the plays until McCarthy last season in the Green Bay.
      Rodgers improves that battle ship scheme that McCarthy was running from 2011-2015 not held it back.
      Rodgers gets 30 percent of the blame on why Packers didn't get to another Superbowl and Packers GM and team gets 70 percent of the blame on why the Packers didn't get to another Superbowl.
      Do you understand that Dak Prescott wasn't choking in the playoffs under Garrett but he choking under McCarthy?
      Even through I believe McCarthy is a Upgraded Jason Garrett.

      @estateruby 4 месяца назад +1

      @@Kamisama23 You're wrong about that. But, these are the most important statistics: He has a passer rating of 83.7 with 1,381 yards, 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 5 games in NFC championships in his career. Mr. Regular Season, but The King of Choke when it came time to get to the Super Bowl. And yes, I am a Packer fan.

      Onside kick and blocked punt not happening would've sent him to 2 more at least. Then there's games where the defense was so bad 45 points wasn't enough to win.

    • @carlfrye1566
      @carlfrye1566 4 месяца назад +1

      @@capkovic35: Onside kick yes, however that game was AFTER the Dez Bryant disallowed catch game the Packers should have lost. The blocked punt was in a playoff game where he scored 10 POINTS ON OFFENSE - and that was after getting a TD ON THE GAME OPENING DRIVE!!
      And don't forget losing to the Lions AT HOME to miss the playoffs....his last game @ Lambeau.
      Why defend him, he signed for 3 years $150 million and then went on the "dark room" vacation to decide if he wanted to play year 2 of that contract...after the Lions loss.
      When he did thst The Packers were finally fed up and told him to find a team where would agree to a trade.
      I firmly believe he was doing his usual..."pay attention to me in the off - season" BS and had every intention of playing the 2nd and 3rd years of that contract in Green Bay but they called his bluff.

      @Kamisama23 4 месяца назад

      @@estateruby You didn't explain why am I'm wrong.
      Yet still with those statistics Rodgers is 30 percent the reason why the Packers didn't to get the Superbowl.He was definitely the underdog in most of those NFC Championships except the one against the BUCS.The Defense is still giving around 30 in those games.

    This is wild 😂 I love that he says I’m not saying Marino is 2X better than Montana I’m just saying he’s not 4X worse than him after he says Rodgers would have won nearly 2X the superbowls than Brady. I’m not surprised Sims has always had asinine opinions on QB’s but this is crazy. Bill allowed Gronk to run wild uncheck. Aaron is coachable and get along well with the lockeroom. the issue in Greenbay is that the upper management made him the scapegoat when they want to cut someone or underpay someone, and when he speak up for the guys the Management to media and called him "difficult"

    • @williamhermann6635
      @williamhermann6635 4 месяца назад

      Yeah because Gronk never challenged him for control over the team. When it was time for work, Gronk did as he was told. Rodgers once held out and demanded the Packers fire their gm. Imagine comparing Gronk to that.

  • @REE_III
    @REE_III 3 месяца назад

    The mistake often made is ignoring how leadership makes a significant difference in the NFL. ARod is not that! Chris knows "elite" talent alone would not yield championships. Also regarding the Pats, the sacrifice TB12 made inspired men to come to NE and play their best. ARod would not have done that.

    Bill was a great coach, the greatest of all time. However, he gets more credit than he deserves. Bill had some great front office types. Probably the best OL coach of all time in Dante Scarnecchia. Without great OL play there is no Tom Brady! Bill was great, but he had a lot of help.

    • @mikediao15
      @mikediao15 4 месяца назад +1

      Some of those SB, Bill won them without any big help from offence. Bill was also putting that O-line together. without Bills Tom Brady would have 1 or 2 SB at best. the genius of Bills was keeping roster fresh every year. organisation like Tempa or Rams would go all-in and exhausted future assets to win SB then take few years to recover. Tom never had to worry about any of that...

    Rodgers is a great player, I think he doesn't have the clutch factor of a Brady or Mahomes. He's great and passes are hightlight reels but when the chips are down and need a big play, I just don't see it from him as I do from Brady or Mahomes. As long as he's played, he doesn't have a lot of come from behind wins. You know if Brady or Mahomes have a chance you win a game, more times than not, they will make the play.
