    Wow, Tunis has become such a clean city! Moreover, the city is totally underrated. Where in the world can you find a place where old (Arab Medina) and new (French Ville Nouvelle) coexist side by side. And adding Carthage and Sidi Bou Said as part of Grand Tunis, this should be one of the most fascinating cities in the World.

      Ironically they have voted for an ultra-conservative sexist, racist, xenephobic and homophobic president, and they get overwhemingly so defensive against whoever dares to criticize him or just for voicing up their opinion on his political system. That's the the so called ''free and progressive'' Tunisia, i can't say that i'm proud to be Tunisian, i'd be lying to myself to say that. Tunisia is anything but a free and diversive country.

      @@rayenerwissi546 aside from conservative, the rest of your claims have no basis or are unfounded. But if it pleases you, go ahead and keep slandering your opponents or people you disagree with politically with these descriptions. It really helps your case.

      Rayén Erwissi Oh yeah the « progressive » candidate is a corrupt traitor who is in bed with the islamists and the ancien régime. Our conservative president is the best president in the Arab world so far and in just few weeks he has done a lot more than any other president. I love Tunisian dishes such as couscous, brik, shorba, tajine - Aromatic, spicy and healthy as I prefer! Open minded, educated people, safety & as you well noticed cleanliness! 👌🏻

    Nice video, Tunis is sadly overlooked compared to the beach cities
    If you go to Carthage please visit the baths of Antoninus as well. Its included in the ticket and i found it more interesting than ancient Carthage ruins it self, where all the tourists are. Bit more north is the blue city, a really beauty too
    If you want to see more Roman architecture go to el Djem by train. You will find the largest roman amphitheater outside of Italy (its in better shape than the colloseum). Remember to visit the archeological museum, its included in the ticket - but no tourist go here. Only the Bardo in Tunis is more stunning in mosaics (but at el Djem there is a roman villa sentlement in the backyard)
    If you want to visit maybe the most important mosque of Northen Africa take a bus to Al-Qayrawan. The city is verry different from Tunis, Sousse and other modern towns
    Almost a Southern european vibe you get at Moastir

    • @granda2126
      @granda2126 4 года назад +1

      Kerkouan is more underrated and more interesting than Carthage ruins!! cuz Kerkouan is considered the only punic ruins still existing till this day, on the other hand, Carthage the punic was destroyed and replaced by the Roman one!! and Roman ruins are not really that much interesting tbh

    Thank you so much for the beautiful video, I was also in Tunisia last October. The weather is amazing. The people ,the sound of the mosques the beach and the food etc... are unforgettable 💖💖💐
    The only bad thing is the way how they drive !!

    The Medina aka traditional city is extremely clean but as you get close to the modern city you will some paper and things more often, btw it seems like you did not visit the other half of the Medina aka the closer one to the modern city where you can find places like qasba and sadiki school which the first modern school in tunisia aka 1875... I hope you enjoyed/enjoy your time in here and as we say marhbe bik (you are welcome)
