- I'll use the original version and the remix version in the mod. The remix version will be slightly better. Both with the ending. The sprites are still being worked on but there are some small changes in this video. I'll just list them.:
1. Blood Splash
2. Removed 3, 2, 1, Date
3. Removed the combo counter stuff.
Also at the part where tails falls back there is going to be an animation where he gets tired perfectly right before Furnace fly's under then he will come back and for some reason won't be tired. Also the charting isn't finished yet. And yes Tails does sing. Gameplay still not final. In the final version both of them live.

Sonic still crashes into Furnace, Tails narrowly avoids him by jumping up, not being distracted like Sonic.
Even with Tails with him, he can't escape his fate. Sad, ain't it?
I have a slightly
different interpretation,
For context, there are 2 ways Fight or flight can end, One leading into Tails’ Death at the hands of the Starved Doctor, or Miles is able to end victorious against Eggman,
For tails to be on little planet he would have to use the time stones after killing the doctor, and would be returned to his younger body with his 2 tails returned
Now however this causes a paradox because the Starved from the timeline that he killed tails returns to relive prey once again, and finds the “Little Fox” there and with some preemptive knowledge of his plan
Now Miles has to come out victorious over the doctor once and again and save Sonic bringing an end to Starved’s Time Traveling feast leading to this remix.

Well, I might as well comment this again with some extra changes. Including actual ideas I have for the story of how Tails is here!
(My own context)
*After Starved used the time stones to reset the timeline one too many times, the timeline started to be altered, and different events than before have started to happen. One of those events were Sonic deciding to bring Tails along with him to Little planet. However, unknown to Starved, this decision from Sonic would bring the beginning of the end to Starved's feast once and for all.*
*Tails caught onto to the now much more bloodthirsty doctor's plans much quicker than Sonic. And with the help of Tails' intellect, the duo were successful on getting more than half of the time stones from Eggman. And after Amy was captured by Furnace, Sonic was determined to save her. Desperately trying to save one more life from the mad doctor. Tails was very doubtful about the chances of Amy not being dead at this point when the duo arrived at Stardust speedway. Sonic however, was in denial of the chances of Amy's death being higher than Hill top zone, and kept going. Trying to convince Tails to help him rescue the young child.*
*This is where the story of "Prey" begins. Sonic is still in denial of Amy's most likely death, however much less cockier than before knowing about how much more deranged the mad doctor has become. Starved is still having doubts that even when Sonic has his kitsune ally, and 4 of the time stones, that the hedgehog can escape his death. As Furnace draws near our heroes, Starved plans his next time-travel meal.*
*He was unaware that this time, the hedgehog and fox would outsmart him.*

This is the best story of prey (with tails) I ever seen
This is a neatly written story, the only issue/little thing that kind of bothers me is that CD is confirmed to take place after Sonic 1 but before Sonix 2, meaning the duo haven't met yet by the time of CD. Granted this also applies to the original starved universe too, but that aside, this is a great story and I hope it makes into the finally release
this is a bop from the start! and when you added tails singing was cool too! and i understand why it would be hard changing to tails but still awesome! all you just need it tails picking up sonic but like i said i understand the difficulties

10/10. This is just absolutely perfect in every way. Since Tails' voice is the starved one, it makes this 18000 times better. I'm excited as FUNK to play this mod! Hope it goes well.

The robot is terrifyingly close to Tails, he could easily grab his tails and skin him at once, but no, it's better to rap
Judging by how furnace can easily pass Sonic slowly when he's going as quick as he can in the starved scene, I'm pretty sure the entire thing is just to let them think they can get away

In fact in the Sonic chronology, at that time Sonic did not know of the existence of Tails, so it would be obvious that neither Eggman nor Sonic would expect that child to arrive.
It doesn't even make sense that it's on the same island

@@Scaylypie idea for starveds part and maybe a completely new thing for prey: when starved appears tails flys with sonic and then instead of furnace slamming into sonic they have some sort of air battle 2v2 and furnace try’s to trap sonic into his stomach
