Potted meat tends to be very salty but with a meat grinder you can make your own meat spreads which are very nice. I'm going to give your recipe for the faux gras a try.
+Everyday Starlet I thought it was delish! Just remember, if you want it smooth you need to let your food processor run for longer than usual. I think I let mine run for like, 5 minutes!
I love chopped liver! And vegetarian chopped liver is also really good! I’ve always laughed at how everyone thinks pate is so fancy, for American Jews it’s just kind of a grandmother food
Oh my word! I am excited to make this faux gras for a party. In the chance you respond, I'd love to know, can this be made 48 hours in advance, or would that be pushing it? Does it separate or change the consistency over time?
+Theresa Novak The original recipe had a small sterno in a cabbage so I recreated it with iceberg lettuce because the cabbage was really difficult for me to work with! LOL! I think it was in the original recipe as a "wow" factor, plus it was heating up the little cocktail wieners.
YAY! Love that you included the bloopers at the end! :)
+Megan F Lol! I swear winking and cheering is harder than it looks ;)
Please post more recipes! I subscribed this summer and watched all of your videos and they gave me life!

can I substitute walnuts for pecans? Kinda expensive here
+Fulop Hilda Yes absolutely! I think most any nut would be a good substitution, though obviously each one will have a slightly different flavor.
Why the sterno in the lettuce original recipe? That stuff is soooo nasty!
I love your wicked sense of humor.
