Had my 3rd acl surgery 5 days ago.. currently not in so much pain.. looking forward to try flex up to 90° within 2 weeks.. hopefully
Cool video. Inspiring. Just had my ACL reconstructed (1st time).
Day 1: surgery
Day 4: start physical therapy (3 times per week)
Day 8: bend knee 90 degree
Day ......don’t know what to expect. Exercising every day at home. Going one day at a time.
So brave you are! Good luck dude!
How the hell were you able to do straight leg raises in your first week and without a brace?! I’m barely doing them in my brace now and it’s day 18 for me.
Hmm allograph... perhaps that’s it. I did with my own patellar tendon.
My daughter is 16 and had a hamstring graft acl repair and meniscus bucket handle repair done three weeks ago today. She is walking now with no crutches and she easily did leg lifts about a week and a half ago. The first four days she was in massive pain. I hope that helps. Everyone is different. God bless
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay AA hoops is back in the game
Ahah yes fam, bringing back the youtube game.
Just retorn mine after 6 years, feeling bummed and so upset.
Hey how are you doing so far
@@Slimeoutricky had surgery yesterday and it went well it was only my acl graft that i ruptured. The day after surgery i am feeling ok the nerve block is completely wearing off soon so ill feel some pain. So far so good
@@davidk1969 Hey how did you reinjure yourself? was it due to sports? i'm curious to know. BTW i hope you're better now.

At which month u felt zero pain / discomfort in ur operated leg after reconstruction.. and felt normal
Hellooo
I'm will not be a day sugury
How come you don't need rehabilitation I got told with my ACL at the end of the year I'm going to need rehab done
Optional, best to do some pre-op exercises/ rehab
@@alredza7366 I got told to do nothing apparently I shouldn't be walking on it I got told it was bad my knee
Physio in 3 days after surgery?. I did my acl surgery and had a cast for 2 weeks. Just started physio and still can't bend my knee. Good job !
Romeo jan iam too... one week after acl surgary, still can't bend over one hundred degrees...
Dn Angel'z I been doing a little research. It depends on doctor or person itself. I am going on week 8. I can walk but limp a little . I havent tried jogging or running yet. For my understanding probably takes about 4 to 5 month for full recovery. These youtubers are just lucky being able to run and swim in just a month
It surely depends on the doctor's view... in my case I immediately started to move the knee the moment I open my eyes from the surgery. Now I am 1 week post op and I am recovering quite good
God bless you. My daughter is three weeks out of surgery and they had her in pt one week after surgery. She is doing way better than I imagined. She has no pain at this point. Swelling is minimal. Thank God we had it done and got a great surgeon.
Did you have a patellar or hamstring or cadaver?
autum lyons there’s another surgery too the quad
@@minusone5560 quad isnt good

This is my second time too man just got out a while ago
Same here! Patellar tendon bone graft. Tomorrow and the day after will be the real test. Still waiting for the nerve block to wear off.
@@davidk1969 that one is so annoying takes longer than the cadaver to heal from :/ just rehab correctly n never deal with it again
@@joelfranco4946 the doc said it would be more painful than the hamstring graft but im yet to find out lol either way im excited to slowly progress🙏🏼cheers mate
@@davidk1969 amen brother rehab is key get on that bike in therapy n get some resistance bands to constantly stretch when you’re healed up
