Heard this in Fury. I like how it meant something for Emma and Norm, two kids who are alive in war, but also that music can have a universal language, and how two foreigners can have something in common.
This darling woman does a really good version of this most lovely lullaby ,,,,,,,Fury was a most real war movie ,,it showed a great deal of emotions good bad and very sad ,, Norman was a gem , he lived a full life in such a short time ,,Brad PIT was as always the ultimate leader lol xx

On the surface, it is a soft and beautiful interlude in the middle of death, destruction, mayhem, and broken humanity. Discovering what piece of music this is, will show that the Germans were not all monstrous. To know the song, means they believe in God, in Jesus, In the Virgin Mary.. how could they be totally without morals and monstrous.. Just my take on it's' use and appearance in Fury.
