Great 3 pt. interview. I really enjoyed this chat. Nelson is no doubt one of the rock stars of audio, and his designs and amps I’ve had the pleasure of hearing always sounded fantastic. Thanks, Mikey. Thanks, Nelson.
Wonderful interview! You guyd are great, thanks Mikey, and thanks to Nelson Pass as well for his ingenous designs and for everything he gives to the community.
As clearly stated, "It's Entertainment." If we could all remember these words and cherish our surroundings with or without the distortion. ✌️ Keep on Groovin' and the terrific content you've been blessing us with! Pulpo
Mikey - How did I ever miss this set of videos you made with Nelson? This is great! I am a real fan of his product. I have a pair of Aleph 1.2’s which are 200 wpc Class A, and most recently, I bought a very special pair of XA-200.5 amps from Ken @ Reno Hifi. I understand they’re the last pair ever made by Pass, just for him (Ken). In fact, I’m driving to Phoenix next month to pick them up. When you fellas we’re talking about 3rd harmonic, this is, from what I remember reading, the XA series of Class A in the “.5” amps operated with this characteristic. When you fellas we’re talking about the SIT amp able to go from 2nd order harmonic to 3rd order harmonic, and Nelson stating his users’ choice of variable gain, I seem to recall Nelson used this preferred gain setting as a basis to create the current line of XA “.8” Class A amplifiers (meaning 2nd order harmonic behavior). Funny this did not get brought up? I would sure like to see you carry or use his amps on your show, that is if you like them. I know your standards for some certain things are quite high, which is great. Anyways, great videos Mikey. Keep up the great work.
Thought I’d never get the name of that machinist. Been super digging a pair of the 15w Amp Camp Amp … hits a sweet spot for a modest apartment rig. Pure Audio open baffle Trio 10. Thanks Mr Pass for a fun and cheap kit to build.
Single stage amplification will really show the probs with whatever is connected to it up and down stream...if u get it right it will be glorious!Ty brother Mikey
Cant recall, he talked about a guy who helped Feastrex become so popular that died on a Bicycle accident... Oh yes, then his business partner was the Joe I believe..
You could have gone on for hours talking to this wonderful man and I'd still be sitting here. THANK YOU!

4 Sure !
That was freaking awesome mikey, the interview alone makes me want to run out and pick up either a first wad or pass lab amplifier.
Right on David !
Nelson is the man!
Yes buddy !
Would be interesting to know his opinion on Purifi and Hypex modules
Since pass labs makes crossovers too hope they can make low pass plate amp modules that can work with all amps. So instead of miniDSP we use theirs
Masterful! Love you guys!
Thanks !
Great series, Mikey!! 👍🏻
Thanks Drago !
Great interview !
Thanks Mark !
Great one ☝️
Thanks ✌️
🤘😎🤘
Rock on ! !
Can we have the book of quotes that you mentioned here
Pre amps: Pass vs. Rowland?
Warranty claim "my silicon carbide transistor blew up" response "Well it can survive on the surface of Venus. What the heck did you do?"
Everything is a compromise...Ty brothers
Especially LIFE...lol
when he says JOE died? did he mean the joe who was building a turntable ?
Cant recall, he talked about a guy who helped Feastrex become so popular that died on a Bicycle accident... Oh yes, then his business partner was the Joe I believe..
@@OCDHIFiGuy ?
why poor audio recording on a video interviewing a person on high end audio?
Because who cares ?
