      I think what he said was a little bit out of order actually. Nothing wrong with learning to cook great dishes at home even if you're never going to be 'chef standard' when you attempt them! Have a bit of humility Murch, we can't all be as perfect as you.......but I suppose we can try LOL ;) :D

    everytime a video showcasing a michelin starred chef (or any chef infact) cooking up a dish for the crew always ends with people bashing the chef (and his plate). theres just no way of pleasing some of you people lol. i believe in order to judge anything, especially food....one has to have experienced it first. To me (as a chef) this is a piece of art on a plate. lets try to simmer down the negative comments, better yet, keep em to yourself.

    Obviously the food and all the elements being put on this dish are phenomenal. He wouldn't have this job if they weren't. He knows his stuff. For the amount of shit he dressed that plate with , the meat better Taste as good as the visual.

    sure the chef knows his job, talented as well, but this plating is just horrible and not appetizing at all.
    looks like he has chosen all this different elements just to fill the plate and they don t really look bound together .

    @homoeroticfood Your 'review', which is clearly not based on having actually *tasted* the dish, strikes me as being far more pretentious than this man's cooking. Yes, people eat with their eyes, but in the end, eating with the mouth is the key to the success of any culinary creation.

    I dont like food styling like peace of art to much in some cases. First think, what food have to be about is simply good piece of food. I cant eat sculpture or picture, so why art? Would you like to take this dish to the galery and just looking on it? :-) Too many intgredients, even chocolate brushing? That was moder 10-15 years ago. The beauty about food for me is taking few simple intgredient, make good size ( :-) ) of portion, take your chef knowledge and make the dish. Perfect food for me have to containt meat, souce, side dish, garnish and mixture of spices and herbs in smaller area. This is not bad, but for me is just 75% :-) what makes me irritated in this case is "crative" camera style. Thats jungle, that realy down the level of this dish.

      ***** Food maybe can be art in some cases, but not this one. Food styling like this one, doesnt look so good to me, so this is not right piece of art, this looks little bit like experiment. sorry.

    hope it wasn't fresh wild venison but pre-frozen farmed venison because if it was fresh wild then it needs to be cooked well done to kill any parasites.

    • @Thestaffcanteen
      @Thestaffcanteen  10 лет назад

      Nymeria Meliae wild venison is fine medium rare, thanks for the comments

    • @NymeriaMeliae
      @NymeriaMeliae 10 лет назад

      It depends how you cook it... if you are frying it like a steak then perhaps... but if you are casseroling it like braised steak then it won't be.
      If you froze the venison before cooking it then it would kill any parasites.
      Do a google on venison and parasites. There are government health warnings in several countries about eating fresh venison.
