So the Judge also found that BH was not telling the truth in her story where she said "No, no, no, stop, stop". I suppose in the darkness, at 2am, in the throes of passion and alcohol after hooking up in front of everyone at the nightclub and coming back to the office for a "nightcap", BL was supposed to use his mindreading skills to know that BH had removed her consent.

The judge heard ALL the evidence. Civil is not like a trial where some evidence may not be allowed.

The Judge said at best he would only realistically be awarded about 20k. But even though the Judge found that Ch10 didn't do any research and just went ahead and that Wilkinson lied and only wanted to benefit her career, on the cause of truth they got a win. I'm not sure if anyone comes out of this as a winner as the Judge called everyone liars!

Sorry but I don't agree. The entire case of Brittany from the beginning was a ridiculous show. As a taxpayer I WANT MY MONEY BACK that she took off with - that payout should never have happened and I'm disgusted. Claims she couldn't work again - you know what? I'm a SA survivor and I don't get to wallow in the corner crying. I don't get a huge payout for claiming something that she didn't even turn up for full testimony for "mental health" bs or whatever was claimed. What I got was a police investigation that went no where as it was my word against his. I have to pick up my own pieces. This was a defamation case - not a court of law. The judge claiming if something did or didn't happen wasn't the issue - the claims being made BEFORE A COURT had ruled is the issue. Another example of judges being out of touch and just doing whatever.

That's what bothers me. This judge acknowledges that it is a civil and not criminal trial - but makes a judgement - but I doubt he had access to all the evidence both would have submitted for the criminal case - that doesn't sit well with me. The criminal case should have been properly concluded - the dismissal and then refusal to refile means that no matter what anyone claims or "feels" - he was never convicted of the crime he's accused of. Which for me is terrifying that someone could claim something - not prove in a court of law - but you still get labelled as guilty. Doesn't sound like justice to me

So you go to court for defamation on a guy who had not had his time in court, then the result of the defamation case ends up being nothing about the defamation. A friend of mine, who is a lawyer in Canberra, knows all about Luhrmann. The gossip column is rife in the legal halls of The ACT. It appears the judge is no fool neither. I bet he was hoping for a massive payout. Well he got his wish, he us probably up for some hefty legal fees. What a big gronk!

Instead of walking away with the somewhat dignity he had retained, Bruce opted to sue ch10 for defamation which they successfully countered.

Think my synopsis has main points. Crooked juror at trial, she distressed ended up in hosp, so dissolved.
So distressed she went to court for compensation case and got millions from taxpayers with not even one day of mediation 😂 Living it up in France and new job after claiming loss of future earnings due to too mentally ill to EVER work again...😂💰
