Some good ideas here, particular noticing the difference in sync resolution between the Rolands and the Volca. The S-1 is so powerful for such a small box, it gives you so many options that I sometimes get lost using mine!
Yes, same for me about the S-1. I personnaly try to explore one feature at a time. A the moment I have not even explore the chop/draw ; pwm, probabilities or motion capabilities. About the sync resolution it is also possible to use this "trick" with the compacts alone unless you don't use midi at the same time of course. For instance if the S-1 is used for pads you can go above 8 bars.
Thank you ! I prefer sequencing rather than sampling. I am still longing for a SQ-64 but the J-6 did the trick ! Works also with volca beats, T-8 drums...
Nice jam! Do you record the sound separately from the video recording and then you put together sound and video, or is it together in one for from the beginning?
@@bigkikyeah I use the same app sometimes with that same behringer card and some times with Zoom h1n as audio interface. However I never get to record so much quality in my sound. I lose some high treble and resonance and "vibe". I don't know if it is a matter of settings. I don't even know if there is a setting for audio format. The best of course would be to be able to record in wav.
I have only found settings for the video format ; nothing for audio apart the stereo setting... seems strange if you have the same setup... my phone is an entry level one from 2020. I had troubles a few months ago with the usb C socket on my phone which caused sudden cut , after a clean up it was solved. I also found that recording on a card instead of the internal memory resulted in poor quality. I hope you will find out !

Par contre je viens de constater sur leur site que leur prix a apparemment sacrément augmenté ;-( Ils sont à priori toujours dispos à l'ancien prix dans les principales enseignes (environ 19€ les 5)

Hello, For this track I simply used "sync". You will need a trs 3.5 male to trs 3.5 male cable. If you want to use "midi", the volca can only be "slave" ; you will need a trs 3.5 male to midi din cable.

Thank you. It is together thanks to the "open camera" app that records in stereo. Fast, easy and simple.

Yes I had once between 2 aira compacts. For this track I had none. Never understood what caused this. I read similar reports on Reddit...
