How long can this torch last on 6000 lumens continuously?
About 2 minutes before step down. Thanks for watching!
Charles BridgTec thanks for your reply do you know how many lumens it steps down to?
It will step down to high if you use quality cells. Thanks for watching!

😊
Yes I have a 15% off code in my store here: bit.ly/2Gp5cv7 towards the bottom of my page. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Charles. Great review of the Sofirn q8. I just received mine. Dumb question. I assume I have to remove the batteries and purchase a recharger separately to charge them. Seems very inefficient but I don’t see another way unless I’m missing something. Please let me know. Thanks.
Yes they are rechargeable cells. You have to recharge them. How can this inefficient? Sure beats buying new ones after they go dead. Most modern flashlights use lithium cells now. You can buy a charger for under $20. Thanks for watching!
Agreed. Rechargeable is preferable. Inefficient in that you have to remove the batteries to charge them vs having a plug on the light itself.
@@frankc4327 You are the first to say this in all of the years I have been doing flashlights. Take care.

It shows eleven in stock. Thanks for watching!
I enjoy your reviews, but I wish that when a flashlight comes with its own type of batteries, that you would use them. I know that this flashlight comes with 3 x 3000Mah Sofirn Batteries in a kit...so I was hoping to see what the light would do with these batteries...the ones you ued here have 1500 more Mah in total, amd proably a lot more amps than the sofirn batteries too?..So I have no idea what the light performs like with the batteries that come with it. Perhaps they did not send you the batteries that come with it in the kit?...so it's probably not your fault...but these flashlight makers should send you the batteries that actually come with the flashlight when you buy it in a kit, so we can get a better idea of its real potential. Thanks! :o)
My light did not come with cells. I use only top quality cells in my lights. Sofirn batteries are just rewrapped OEM cells. The cells I used in my review will show the light at its best. Thanks for watching!
i would easily make this my top pick if it wasn't for the diameter. i think sp33 is more an ideal edc for its size.
