    I am not familiar with all the terminology but when you said run unprotected cells could you explain what that means??
    Also when you took the flashlight apart to expose the battery area the cylinder that the batteries go in what is the distance from the top of it to the bottom when you have the upper part removed I make handles for your fingers out of military paracord I want to make sure I got enough room to make a handle
    You made a good video not a bunch of BS you got straight to the point no jibber jabber and you also were very explanatory thank you

    • @CharlesBridgTec
      @CharlesBridgTec  2 года назад +1

      Unprotected cells are shorter because there is not circuitry added to the cell. This cannot run protected cells because they are two long. Yes, using the paracord is key for long carry times. Use the tightening tabs on the paracord lanyard for it will grip the light at the head and tail cap areas. Thanks for watching!

    Great night shots, but at the 13.28 mark when you went back to turbo it does not look like Turbo kicked in, it only went to high beam. Probably still to warm from the previous turbo mode.

    want to know does quality of batteries effect lumen output I have some very cheap and bad batteries and when I put them inside sp36 it doesn't seem to have 6k lumens, and turbo lasts for less than 10 seconds. Yes they are rechargeable cells. You have to recharge them. How can this inefficient? Sure beats buying new ones after they go dead. Most modern flashlights use lithium cells now. You can buy a charger for under $20. Thanks for watching!

    • @frankc4327

    I enjoy your reviews, but I wish that when a flashlight comes with its own type of batteries, that you would use them. I know that this flashlight comes with 3 x 3000Mah Sofirn Batteries in a kit...so I was hoping to see what the light would do with these batteries...the ones you ued here have 1500 more Mah in total, amd proably a lot more amps than the sofirn batteries too?..So I have no idea what the light performs like with the batteries that come with it. Perhaps they did not send you the batteries that come with it in the kit?...so it's probably not your fault...but these flashlight makers should send you the batteries that actually come with the flashlight when you buy it in a kit, so we can get a better idea of its real potential. Thanks! :o)
