I saved a bee back in the summer, I spotted it on the ground in town. I placed my hand in front of it and it walked on, I took it home and gave it honey. The bee was with me for about 30 minutes before I felt comfortable that it could fly again, and when it was time I let it walk on to my hand took it out and shortly after it flew off. One of my most surreal experiences ever.
Happened to me two weeks ago with a mantis I found in my house while it was freezing, I took it into my room with the AC and let it walk over my shoulders, such a cute and curious little creature! Then when the sun raised the next two days I let it go on a vined wall and took off, I'll never forget about it.

Bumblebees are so cute. Saved one just a few weeks ago, after it flew into my main room, and stopped moving. Gave the bumblebee a few drops of honey. 10 minutes later it flew away. I was in a home center and found a bee slowly crawling on the floor. The garden center was on the far side of the store. I scooped her up and walked her to the most attractive flower and tipped her in , two minutes later she flew away. Made me happy.
I did exactly the same, it was very cold and I found a bee that was not moving, I gave it a drop of water sugar, she was moving so slowly, but she drank it. Then I put it in a jar and bring it in my house. She was almost dead, but 30 minutes later I heard a vigourous buzzing and she was flying with loud buzzzz sound in the jar, wondering how to go out. Many years back we were on a motorboat on loch Tay in Scotland. It’s 23km long - so pretty big. It was as smooth as a millpond, reflections of Ben Nevis mirrored. Gorgeous! Anyway, I seen a ripple in the water up ahead (only thing disturbing it) slowed down and it was a bee fighting for life never having a hope in hell of crossing the width of the loch (like being lost in outer space in scale) I scooped him up, chewed a toffee and sat him on it under the canopy. Left him with his proboscis out sucking away, while my wife watched him. I turned into the bank to bring the boat and bee closer so that he could make a go of it! After about 15 minutes he started buzzing his wings, getting his temp up and testing his energy levels. We lifted him on his toffee, aimed him at the trees, flowers and he shot off. These guys just put that in a glass bottle attached to a screw lid and a keychain and not too bad of a price. Still cheaper to make it at home and keep a small jar stashed away.

Thanks for saving the bee, but I wish more people knew that sugar water should only be a last resort, and that putting a bee on a nectar-rich flower is much healthier for it. The idea that a starving or exhausted bee needs sugar water instead is a myth, and feeding a bee too much sugar water can cause it to become deficient in some important vitamins it needs for its immune system. If there weren't any flowers available, then this was the next best thing for the bee, but if too many people gave it sugar water, its health could be at risk. Next time you find a bee that's struggling to move, move it onto a flower. Even if it's just tired and needed a rest, that's the best place for it to do that, and if it was starving, you can save its life by putting it there where it can get enough food. Feeding them sugar water can save their lives, but putting them on flowers so they can get nectar saves their lives while also maintaining their health. The sugar water myth is widespread, and you had good intentions and probably still saved the bee's life, so I'm not annoyed with you. I'm just sharing important knowledge so you can save the next bee in a healthier way. It's also a good idea to plant more flowers, so bees don't go hungry in the first place. @@DeviousKitten27 It's usually easier to find flowers than sugar and water in areas you're likely to find a bumblebee lying around that might be in need of some help. It's ok to give it sugar water as a last resort, which it turns out it was in this video. Looking after flowers is easy btw, especially if they're native to the soil and climate. If you plant native flowers that's literally all you have to do, and they don't require any more looking after. It's also usually the case with non-native flowers, but not always.

It was exhausted, because it failed to find flowers to feed on nectar. There were no flowers around, so these people gave the bee some sugar water instead. It's not the flower it needed, but better than starving to death. It gave the bee enough energy to fly to its beehive or a meadow
Did the same thing to a bumblebee. Poured a few drops of water on the flor infront of it and some sugar. I noticed when it drank that it reacted to my finger and put his leg up. I gave it a high five and it was of. Amazing thing!

I can't say I 100% understand. How does this save the bee?
It was exhausted, because it failed to find flowers to feed on nectar. There were no flowers around, so these people gave the bee some sugar water instead. It's not the flower it needed, but better than starving to death. It gave the bee enough energy to fly to its beehive or a meadow
So cute! 😍
You are a real man and you deserve our respect.

Wholesome moment
I saved a bee and a wasp with some honey. Does the trick too!
The danger in feeding honey to bees is that honey can contain and preserve viruses, spores, and bacteria. Its safer for them if you use sugar water.
This is bumblebee
The bee was like: Ember Heards Dog Stepped on me!
Did the same thing to a bumblebee. Poured a few drops of water on the flor infront of it and some sugar. I noticed when it drank that it reacted to my finger and put his leg up. I gave it a high five and it was of. Amazing thing!
頭のいい蜂ちゃんやわなぁ〜…✨
yoooooooo feeding the beez
i have a severe entomophobia, but i feel huge respect for the bees. they are hard workers, minding their own business, pollinating flowers and making honey. i feel like we have some sort of agreement: i'm watering the garden and not bothering them, they pollinate my marigolds and don't bother me.
