My guess is they have cheap sleeve bearings in there. Not ball bearings ?

Yes it will stay on all night without the timer. I usually leave mine on all night, it acts like white noise.
I just bought one and on the second night the oscillation has started making a clicking noise have you had this problem?
So far no issues with the 3 we have and they are on every night
I have the older black colored Seville fan, and yes mine clicks too when it's oscillating
I’ve gone through several of these. I returned two to Costco, picked up one for free. They all end up breaking.

Mine seems to speed up and freak out at times, it seems defective.
Is it on wind mode?
No that’s with it on the regular basic fan mode. I have a feeling the settings got messed up on it unfortunately.
Does this thing blow cold air like an ac?
No just room temperature, but sure helps though
Can u mute the beeping? Im curious as I have an infant.

Open it up and cut the wire to the little speaker. Pain in the ass but gets the job done
