From what I could see, that looked like a fairly new rug. The binding wasn't worn or frayed, the pile looked good. And yet someone has chucked it away . . . What a fabulous job you made of it, James. A rug anyone would be proud to have in their home.
@@katm6 I was just saying that because you answered their question saying they threw it out cause it was hideous so I was just curious what you meant when you said that
@@katm6 I'm not a big fan of yellow, but that pattern with the different shades of gray plus some of the yellow being more golden, I would buy that exact rug, even knowing how nasty it was before he cleaned it.
After having gotten thoroughly addicted to your videos, and reading about how and why you do this, I have to ask/wonder, just how do you recognize a possibly salvageable rug from one that isn't? Is it just trial and error? Do you ever try to save one that turns out to be unsalvageable? If it ever happens, would you ever let us see it? Just curious.
He doesn’t have one one those centrifuges, to spin the rugs. A lot of cleaners use them to rinse away extra dirt and soap. James does that all by hand.💪
@@sammycat4310He does have a centrifuge, he captions the steps in some of his videos and says so. He likes to rinse the shampoo out as thoroughly as possible, vacuum out the water to remove any leftover dirt, then he puts it through the centrifuge. He’s just extremely dedicated to the best possible result.
He is amazing, the only rug content creator I watch. If I watch another one, I get the feeling that they are missing important details in the process, and that annoys me. 🙃
That is one mighty fine transformation! If you’re ever thinking of “behind the scenes” content, I’d be very interested to know what happens to the water and gunk in the trough. An idea?
The work you do, sir, is top-notch. I've never seen such dirty rugs look as good and close to brand new before, and I work at a factory that washes rugs. Thank you for showing that with some soap, TLC, and some good Ole fashioned elbow grease, anything can be restored.
This is another one for the "guess what the real color is" competition. It's amazing how dirty those rugs get...it turned out great...good job! The overhead view is nice, by the way...
Another great video. I especially like the overhead shots that I think may be a bit new. I always try to guess the actual rug colors after the first rinse and I’m happy to say……I have yet to get those colors right. Great job!!!
James!!!! This video is sheer cleaning perfection. The asmr was on point and the amount of squeegee shots was amazing!(keep all of it for future videos). This rug can out great and looks beautiful
Another happy Friday in the mountain rug cleaning asmr world! I think one of my favorite parts about these videos is the sound of the water, foam, etc, hitting the drain as it falls down into it! Thanks for another video James!!
@@bs-gi3gs Thank you very much! It was a small procedure and everything went well, I am able to see properly again. I hope you're having a wonderful day, and thanks once again for your kind comment
I loved the textured carpet! The way the pressure wash went in all different directions was cool to watch. It probably made it more difficult to clean but it made me happy.😂 If you can find them, more textured rugs would be great! This is definitely a rewatch!
So I started out watching the shorts on Facebook but my god I’m glad to find the whole length videos!! Idea for one video: comparison of the before and each phase, I am curious to see the changes after each pass.
The colour that was coming off that rug with the first rinse was stomach turning. What a beautiful transformation as always. The care and detail to your work is far superior. What blows my mind is how people can let rugs get that discussing. I guess if they didn’t you wouldn’t have a job that you excel at. Thank you for the videos. Please keep them coming.
I know I've said it before, but you truly have perfected your rug cleaning method. The end result here is simply jaw-dropping! You could sell this as brand new in a store and everyone would believe it, and that's the case for damn near every rug you clean these days.
I watch these videos and think "that looks absolutely exhausting ". We only see a condensed version but you must have to work on these for so long. Full marks to you.
I only recently got into rug restoration videos like a week or so ago, loved the concept initially but most of them left me feeling… unsatisfied by the ending. This is the first video I’ve seen that I was actually 100% happy with the end results! Seeing the white brighten and actually become white won me over. You did such a great job & went above & beyond my expectations!!!
Your videos are amazing! I love how you make sure the water runs clear in every video! Do you think you can do a longer video without many edits? I’ll still watch either way!
I really love how this was shot and edited. Great use of camera angles and lighting. Nice smooth transitions that don't switch up too much and disorient the eyes. And no overkill on slow mos. Slo mos are cool but they can actually reduce the asmr rhythm and weaken the impact of a shot or moment, if they are overused --or in the wrong places (like in the first carpet squeegee, which tends to be the best time to see dirty action, lol). I think this particular video and its editing is one of the very best I've seen and enjoyed thus far.
Can you and Dirt Reynolds please come to my country and clean our dirty, bog-like politicians? Great transformation -at the beginning I never would have guessed the rug was yellow. Thank you for a relaxing video 👍
Your videos just keep getting better.👏 The quality of the rug cleaning remains the star but the different angles make it more visually interesting. Your efforts to constantly improve your editing and filming are definitely noticed and appreciated.
Seeing the color actively change as you made passes with the first pressure washing was absolutely vile I thought I was gonna throw up, amazing work on this rug
Sometimes I like to think that if Dirt Reynolds could talk, he'd look between you and the rug with his big googly eyes and be like "oh hell naw" 😂 brave little soldier 😆 Seriously, I watch a lot of rug cleaning videos throughout the week but nothing gets me so excited than knowing it's Friday and you upload again ❤
Your local garbage transfer station must have an open order to set aside all rugs they receive so that you can pick them up. I can't imagine any other place where such filthy carpets keep coming from.
I love how relaxing these cleaning videos are you did such a good job. your videos help me fall asleep at night. I also can't get over of the soap round soap thing has googley eyes on it.
A truly amazing transformation! You couldn't even see any yellow on it at first! Well done a fantastic job. I was wondering why the rugs don't rot, when they are that wet and mucky?
My daughter and I love your videos! She says you must’ve kept your room nice and tidy as a kid since you’re so much more thorough than the other cleaners we watch 😂
Incase it interests you me and my 2 year old watch these when we are needing to calm down after a melt down. We lie in bed, put our heads together and get transfixed 😊
I don't know why but I watch this while eating. By the way James I loveeee your videos , They're so relaxing and you did a good job! That rug is so clean now!

Because it's hideous? Sorry, that's my serious dislike of yellow coming to the fore. 😊
@@katm6If it was hideous then why would someone get it? (Not trying to be rude or anything just curious)
@@wandakaylabatista911 - Because they like yellow, obviously. As I stated, I dislike yellow, so I find that rug to be ugly.

Can we vote on eyebrows for Dirt Reynolds? 😂
👍
The ASMR content coming out of this channel is NEXT LEVEL! 😍❤️ a little something for everyone 👏👏 well done!!
Thank you so much 😁 So nice to hear your compliment.
But the ASMR IS SO RELAXING IT ALMOST PUT ME TO slEEp
It’s always the same exact moment. That first spin with Dirt Reynolds, and you see the glimpse of the rug’s true nature that is being rescued
Everytime u show that clean water in the bucket at the end it reminds me that everything will be ok 😌❤️🩹

I do guess the colour as well.
