    The seed is 11AMTTJH. Special thanks to Discord users MathIsFun and 00001H who helped me find this seed.
    In this first part of the run, we obtain a Polychrome card (not Joker) from a Spectral Pack, and then we start modifying our deck with Tarot Cards generated by 8 Ball.
    Blueprint and Burglar Jokers help us get additional value from our 8 Ball.
    We pick up an early Constellation Joker which begins building value for our late game scoring.
    We want to use the Telescope Voucher to power up our high scoring Flush House.
    While trying to get value out of 8 Ball, we need to be careful not to play any one hand too many times, keeping Flush House as our most played hand. To help us with this, we can manipulate the shuffler by rearranging the cards in our hand before we play/discard them. Find out how here:

    Why are you selling the planets made by High Priestess instead of using them?

    • @drspectred
      @drspectred  9 месяцев назад +3

      In the end, we're only going to be playing the Flush House for scoring. All other Planets are irrelevant. By selling the Planet cards, we earn money to spend on things like rerolling the shop.
      Secondarily, if we power up our Hands with Planet cards, we won't be able to play as many Hands per round for 8 Ball. (We'll score too many points, ending the round early).

      @@drspectredbut... doesn't constellation joker get a powered up multiplier after every planet card? Isn't that way better?

      @@FranXiT It'll make more sense after watching part 2, but basically, for the next part, we want to score less points per hand, not more.
      For example, with 2500 points left in the round, we want to be able to play something like two Full Houses and one Four of a Kind for 1000, 1000, and 1500 points to get three 8 Ball activations. Rather than just one powered up Full House for 3000 points. More 8 Ball activations per round for more Tarot cards per round.

      @@drspectred I see, that's what I figured as well. Thanks for answering

    Why did you discard the 10 in that full house at the very start?

      @@seanyoung4358 what does switching the cards around do?

    • @Tylerohwhat
      @Tylerohwhat 3 месяца назад

      @@saintjames9 You can switch the cards around to change the activation order. As an example, there's a joker that retriggers the first card that's scoring twice more. So if you switch the order so a glass, mult or bonus card goes first, it will be triggered two more times. Another example is the photograph joker. The first face card gives you x2. So if you put the face card at the end, you can take advantage of +4 mult cards that trigger before the 2x happens. It's got a few really good uses

      @@Tylerohwhat oh duh, that seems so obvious haha thanks for the clarity.
