- It’s sentencing day for former Cuyahoga County Jail Director Ken Mills, which comes after he was found guilty of dereliction of duty and falsification last month.
"Under Mills' watch, drugs flowed freely and medical care did not,” Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said in a press release after the guilty verdict was announced. “Inmates were attacked by corrections officers. With this conviction, Mills can think about his own potential time behind bars -- and hope that it will run better than the hellhole he ran for Cuyahoga County."
Mills is among 10 Cuyahoga County Jail employees who have been charged for negligent acts against inmates.

Lol I like how the defense attorney is talking about his weekend
He's gonna ( Mills ) have friends up the Wazoo !
Mills was doing this in part to help in securing a position as the county’s director of public safety position. The irony.
So all this and he gets 9 months. And they will appeal it. I think he got off pretty good.
🤔 Soooo your going to sentence this guy to incarceration in the institution he did his dirt and you think he'll be rehabilitated... #Good_Luck_With_That🤣
Thats exactly where he deserves to be a taste of his own medicine so to speak
@@sr.r.s4769 he deserves the death penalty.
It's a joke what the judge said America is not a third world backward country please look more closely at your politicians and justice system then repeat those words again without laughing.
Wow Ken Mills you're really something if this is all true come Judgment Day I would not want to be you
