I thought he did a fine job of portraying a dignified and respectful Maharawal Ratan Singh. I felt sorry that he underestimated the evil Khilji and Kafur.
The movie was so controversial since the beginning, it still does not deserve the credit that it should have. The movie never received a World TV Premier, that already tells a lot.
This song is literally my comfort song. The voice, lyrics, classical Indian music it just makes me calm and happy.

To be honest, that chord progression at "Main Behosh Tu Nashaa … Aisi Moh Ki Dashaa" feels so soothing and satisfying.
How swiftly Bhansali sir goes from the root minor to major 4th through chorus and bass in "Main Behosh Tu Nashaa", and then gently arrives at relative major in "Aisi Moh Ki Dashaa"... (Listen to the chorus and bass carefully from 01:56 to 02:03).
Perfectly using the 6-4-1-5 chord progression throughout those lines. It just makes the song so soothing and relaxing.
