"I'M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE AUTOPSY RESULT" - MOHBAD FATHER CRY OUT AFTER LONG AWAITED RESULT

Exactly 261 days after the body of late music superstar Mohbad was exhumed for an autopsy, the long-awaited result was released to the public on June 7 2024. As you may have guessed, everyone has become worried sick again that the mystery behind the talented rapper's death will never be unraveled. Even worse, many are worried that Imole may never get the justice he deserves.
As far back as November 22 2023, the State Counsel told the Lagos Coroner Court sitting in Ikorodu that the autopsy into the external body of the Mohbad has been completed here in Nigeria. However, internal body toxicology tests, which he described as the most critical aspect of an autopsy, are conducted in the United States. According to the public prosecutor representing Mohbad, the Lagos State Government chose to conduct the test in the US because of the various substances the late singer was injected with before he passed. Also, the government is trying to prevent a controversy over the autopsy report when it is finally presented.
However, the controversy started way before the result was released to the public. First, many were anxious about why the autopsy took so long, mainly because preliminary results can be released within 24 hours in advanced countries, and the final results are released within six weeks. When one month passed, three months, and then seven months passed, many began to assume that the Nigerian Police were working hard to cover up the cause of Mohbad death and let some of the suspects walk free. This suspicion intensified in May of 2024 after the Lagos State government updated the autopsy result. Still, the US National Medical Service Laboratories (NMS) in Pennsylvania denied conducting the internal toxicology test. Of course, many wondered if samples had even been sent to the lab.
But more recently, the US lab confirmed that they indeed conducted the internal autopsy, and the full result now has many people with their jaws wide open. Once again, the question of whether the late Mohbad, who died at the age of 27, leaving behind a widow and 1-year-old son, will get justice has taken center stage. Will the people responsible pay for cutting his life short? Or are they about to get away with it?
