Thank you for the breakdown, I saved a ton and built an accelerator/celty team as well as yuji/shana team and is a massive upgrade from where I was before as a returning player.
thx for the rapid review upload, I drained all my stones on last collab so I left almost nothing to roll in here. Had to reference the subtitle a lot coz of the unique(and attractive) accent but very great and useful content
Thanks! Lol I did notice some issues with my voice for this video, but yeah hope the subs helped when I wasnt clear. I think I caught all the typos, software usually generates weird captions when I talk with PAD terms so I have to read them all over 😔
Thanks for the review. I’m in a similar boat. Broke, rolled hard last run. Have all the Shana/ Misaka I need and a bunch of fodder. I guess I’ll wait out the free rolls but it looks like accelerator is the only major trade.
I just returned to the game after five years, starting a new account because the old one was lost and I've got the puzzling itch. Your videos have been a tremendous resource to help me catch up with the current state of the game. That said... is it just me, or most of the new characters seem to be extremely one-note? I don't want to sound like an old man, but "back in my day", the top tier meta characters were pretty diverse. Now, 95% of the leaders skills are just "Big multiplier and damage reduction for easy matches, a combination of FUA and/or free combo, and some passive color/type sustain buff". I have pulled a whole lot of collab characters, and got a solid three multies out of the Tanabata Super Godfest machine before it went away, and all of them just bleed together. Also, while I'm having a whole lot of fun with the story mode and just experimenting with teams as I play the old familiar dungeons, I can't help but feel that the difficulty curve is all over the place. This is a three days old account, and I cleared the August Quest Dungeon up to Lv12, and what I found is that there are only two states: my team is either nearly invincible while the shields are up, or absolutely everything one-shots them, with practically no in-between. Same with the damage. The team's either one-round clearing the enemy, or they are doing plinking damage until the stars align to get the right orbs to one turn clear the field. Overall, I have mixed feelings about where the meta of the game progressed, but there's literally no other game out there with the same puzzle-mechanics, so I won't complain much.
Welcome back! I took a similar length break from the game and came back cuz no other mobile game is as fun as PAD. And yeah I agree most of the meta is kinda monotonous once you step back and realize every team is a 2-3 unit orbgen system + cleric + looping shield + etc. Regardless I still enjoy the game but do hope GH does a better job balancing stuff.
@@guamuchill Thanks. Honestly, coming back to the game feels like a bit of a culture-shock in many ways. I mean, this is my second time returning to the game. I originally picked up the game when the NA version came out, and then dropped it before coming back to it sometime around when Summer Barbara & Julie were the meta and Reincarnations were starting to be introduced, but it didn't feel like things changed THAT much back then. Sure, the multipliers got bigger, but activations could still be tricky, and there was a lot of variety. I even went as far as to contribute to the wiki with reviews and guides back then. I also clearly remember seeing some "modded" showcases of the game, where the team would deal hundreds of millions of damage, and it just felt so unreal and crazy. And now here I am, a five days old account with double Gouten, getting everyone's skills up right after entering a dungeon, matching just six dark orbs (which a whole lot of characters can generate on demand) to get two dark combos, which then immediately generate ten combos, triggering everyone's combo awakenings, and now every single character is doing 2bil+ damage every turn (with the Goutens doing 7bil each, so about 24bil total)... and it's considered to be entry-level stuff. Good thing the orb-matching and team-building is still as fun as ever, but man, the numbers game just got absolutely bonkers. P.S.: Just in case, do you happen to have a recommendation for some easily accessible passive boosting farm leaders? I have to climb through the Normal and Technical dungeons all over again, but 90% of the characters either transforming, requiring skills setups, or multi-comboing, it gets a bit tedious (and I also feel ridiculous bringing 24bil damage against 5k HP goblins...).
Yeah numbers got so big they had to introduce supergravity and you can abbreviate dmg multi display. The unit of choice for those easy dungeons is Hino Kagutsuchi who does 3M FUA by just matching any 5 orbs. If you dont have him then see which non-transforming units you have with easy LS activation for FUA.
@@guamuchill Thanks for the reply. Since I wrote that, I combed through my monster box, and I settled on a double Rimuru & Veldora team. For these easy dungeons, they can just button-clear four stages in a row by creating the columns required for their LS, so I only need to manually swipe one stage (or not even that, since a lot of the early dungeons are only 3 stages long).
You can cycle 2 R&V every turn without down time, not just for 4 floors. The way you "system" these 3T>1T cycling skills is to go r&v1 twice then r&2 twice and r&v1 will be up for the 5th turn. Not a bad idea to use them for farming, i think for the early normal and tech you shouldnt run them as leaders cuz their +3 combos from LS will be a drag and you shouldnt need the 35x ATK from the LS. I would put them as subs and fill the other slots with units with FUA awakenings as each one does 500k dmg so if you fill the other slots with lets say 4 Ichijos you'll deal 4M follow up dmg. Could also break up the water column to only do 1 combo to be even faster.
Came back to the game after years apparently just in time for the slime collab, ended up swimming in rimuru/veldora duo units, but hadn't pushed much of the reset or new entry content. Dropped the 100MS on dengeki bunko and ended up with misaka, misaka imouto, accelerator, a couple shanas and a sea of irregular brother and sister separately... But this seems like a good combination to trade into other options such as shizuo... It's good to know my outdated knowledge still saw misaka and shizuo as a good combo due to the +combo and linked orb requirement!
Any modern team really, i onlt got a copy of each with Yuha probably and used pys to skill them up. If you need specific farming builds i think Bira, sgt502, or someone on reddit have posted some.
Pretty much this team except I use Academy Vione instead of Ollie and helper Rimuru has Bubblie equip. Team is pretty consistent and will be more so when SN2 gets nerfed. I already got 31/50 boss gems for the exchange. ruclips.net/video/vher9dnXoao/видео.html
Angie teams also want 1 Shizuo. So I think ideally you exchange for 1Shizou 2-3 Angies or 2-3 Accelerators. Right now both teams are pretty good for SN2 and I think OK for SN3, so honestly I'd go with whichever team is easier to build and which play style you prefer. I'd personally go with Accelerator cuz faster gameplay, but if you have no Celty and can get 3 Angies and Shizuo you can self pair and not rely on friends to have Celty up.
1:20 I feel like you underestimated Shinra’s value, since 2 of them can effectively loop 2x max HP, not to mention they carry great RCV with 2 of them, L unlock + and L shield, and can have 4 SB with SA and 7 with SB++ latent. Oh and low CD for equips at the beginning of the dungeon
Yeah but after using the equips 2 units that do no dmg will just take up space imo. Idk what kind of dungeon needs you to have that much hp. I did see shinra being used in an SN3 clear as a replacement Kohaku/psudo shield so maybe 1 isnt a bad idea but 2 is pushing it 🤔
Hmmm this is hard, I rolled a lot of the good ones last time (shana, yuji, miyuki and Hecate) and just got one accelerator so I dunno if it's worth to roll, also I'm quite low on atones and while I have rimuru I don't have the dragon arms or mr compress.
Ah the arms eq are nice generally but mr compress is more so for the speed running team only. If you cant copy that team exactly I wouldnt bother, mr compress looks to be very important. If youre low I wouldnt roll much unless you can get enough fodder for another Accelerator and have a reliable friend with Celty up.
Depends. I'd roll if you are missing some fodder for 2 or more Accelerators or Angies and want to farm SN2. But if you have no stones to get enough fodder then maybe just save. Pastell x Shana can still clear SN2 albeit slowly, so if you only want the title clear and are low on stones I would keep attempting with Pastell and save. There's still 13 days left! If anything you might get lucky with the remaining dengeki stamps and then decide to roll or not.
@@guamuchill rolled 3 5times got an accelerator and Angie also I oddly got Mikasa as my free roll makes me wish I bought her last time then I’d have three hahahaa
Thanks for the review. I got Angie in main and Celty on alt, should I exchange for 2 Accelerator on both account? Or 2 more Angie on main and 2 Accelerator on alt 😅
Nice! Yeah I think 2 Angie and a Shizuo on main and 2 Accelerators on alt is a good idea cuz it's generally better to run a Celty as leader instead of helper
@@guamuchill if only searching for similar abs voider, I also have Zumbardier/Dark Deku/Erika. But still I’m wondering abt Shizuo’s importance as a leader/help? What do u think pros n cons of using Shizuo as a leader/helper vs self pair Angie?
Zumbardier is probably the next best thing, but only as a sub cuz his LS sucks. Shizuo is good for his HP boost as Angie x Angie will die to hits after on-death animations without a shield from an Active Skill. Probably not an issue in dungeons released before UN2, but one of these might be present in quest 13 and above.
I rolled a lot for Misaka and didn't get a single one at the first run. Now i have a lot of trade fodder for Angelina. I am planning to trade 3 Angelina. But im debating if i should trade Shizuo or another Accelator, since he appeared on one of my pulls. I don't think i would be able to get Celty since im saving for Bride and Ultraman event.
A lot of builds use a Celty helper so you may see if one of your best friends gets one. Not sure if there is a lot of value in the Bride REM - Bride Natsuru can be traded with low rarity fodder so you can trade for one if you have rolled in the past. Not sure how strong the UM rerun was but if you rolled a lot in the past, low rarity fodder can be used for the new trade units.
Wait for stamps maybe you'll get lucky! But if youre set on 3 angies I would try to get Shizuo first even if u got Zumbardier. And like MB said, Bride and UM doesnt have much value. Bride is pretty much for Natsuru teams/Rimuru support. And I think there's only one strong team that comes from UM, which uses multiple BGMs and a Code Geass leader, so it might be hard to assemble that team if you wont be rolling hard/buying bundles in those events.
@@guamuchilli see. So i suppose i should focuss on angie team first than Accelerator. I already have Rimuru team ready, just need Bride Natsuru.
