I listen to a lot of the cheating wife storied. I do not know why many of them describe a scenerio where the husband is actually in the house witnessing his wife have sex and even though he is in the house, he does nothing ?? Doesn't walk in and break it up in any way, just lets it happen? In this case he was watching it on a tv monitor and of course just did noting. Many other similar stories seem to describe the same sort thing,. some where the husband takes photos with his phone, and oddly the couple doesn't notice him. There are many stories with that scenerio or similar. I think they could write a story with a bit more realism than the offended party just watching. Also the ending of this story is a bit far fetched. But it is just a story and it was free so what do I know.. lol
Because going off half cocked is usually a stupid move and would get him arrested. The smart move is to gather evidence, get finances ready for divorce, find out who the AP is, etc. Courts side with the wife in he-said/she-said cases.

And his argument that this is in any way comparable to his wife cheating would not convince too many people. Furthermore the method of murder was such that it had to be pre-planned and therefore premeditated. That's a life sentence at minimum if the wife talks, and would you want to count on her loyalty?
Shooting the bastard at the time of the sex, could've been viewed as him protecting his wife from rape, or perhaps as self-defense. But in that case you probably wouldn't want that baby monitor evidence known unless it supported your own case.
