I love this warm-up. I'm a (mostly alto) mezzo and most of the church and pop music I sing is in the mezzo range. This warm-up covers both ranges and helps keeps my chest voice strong. As always, thanks Jeff!
Hi Jeff, thank you so much for this warm up! I absolutely love your videos, they make me feel like I'm having private vocal lessons! P.S: Does having a musical background before trying singing make learning how to sing easier, or is it the same to everybody?
What range is covered in the video? It's a joy to finally have those notes in the video (actually many of your videos), most of the alto videos start with F3 at best.
Hey Jeff I had a show and cracked completely on a b4 which Is very unusual for me and I know there is a variety of different causes for that but is there anything that can help with instances like that?
Cracking is indicative of an imbalance in vocal fold engagement and airflow. Assess how you're intending to phonate and diagnose the imbalance to correct it!
As far as I know. There are roles for all kinds and the subdivisions of fach in opera are far more specific than what we generally talk about in popular genres. In other words, ruclips.net/video/cAu3a7CMA84/видео.html :-) Jeff
Finally a warm up that covers my full range, especially the low range! Nobody ever goes that low! XD Thank you! And the last exercise was a joy!
LOVE this one, Jeff...and didn't find your brain at all scrambled! Thank you so much for this excellent workout! Love and best from Toronto!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that. Glad that I didn't come off as too scattered!
Best!
Jeff
@@JeffRolka actually Jeff this warm up is quickly becoming one of my faves, so thanks again!
I'm addicted to your videos!
Thankfully the only known side effects are well aligned vowels and good registration event practice!
Thank you for watching!

Jeff

Great! Thank you. Singing at a funeral this morning.
Great warm up, thank you. For some reason I couldn't do the final exercise without laughing to start with, it was just so unexpected :)
I'm a mezzo, but it's also nice to do these alto warmups. Good to have exercises for the low low range.
Love the final exercise!!! Amazing:). Please do more like the end. This is excellent!!!
Fabulous!!! I love the low and high notes. Low notes are easy, it’s the high notes that stretch my range. Thank you:)
Thank you Jeff! Take care.
Your work is much appreciated 🙂

Jet Lagged Jeff is my spirit animal(just kidding, but you are adorable)
There's a special something that comes out during jet-lag. I admit, I'm a bit of fan of it!
Thank you for watching!
Jeff
I really can't sustain a lip trill. I've been trying for years. Is there a substitute that I can use?
it's easier: You show the exercise and then start the practice. Thanks

Hi Jeff! Can all type of voices sing opera?
