    It be interesting to try a more aggressive bait/lure. All those baby big mouths, gotta have mom and dad somewhere in the same system. Intriguing.

    Brampton has a ton of stormwater ponds, all connected by culverts. They even have trails to access them. Would highly recommend some of those, as ive caught some decent bass and catfish from them 🎣

    You keep calling 1-2 year old fish stunted. Wrong. They are just young.

    • @ToothyWally
      @ToothyWally  2 месяца назад

      Stunting happens when there are many many fish that can not get a lot bigger because there is only so much nutrients to go around. So you can have bodies of water like that with lots of small fish but no giants, simply not enough nutrients to go around. I believe this was the case here, small waters, lots of fish of small stature. To create big fish, the small ones are usually culled and only the big ones are kept. I could be wrong but the sheer number of small fish I was getting pointed in that direction. If I got these in the Bay of Quinte for example I would not say that they are stunted.
