This song protests the then Indonesian government's proposed policy of imposing substantial restrictions on what music could be played (the title translates literally as Fart Freedom although it's more often given in English as Say No to the Sick Act). I think we need to understand this in the context of Indonesia being the largest Muslim nation in the world (pop. 280M). The policy was not promulgated and VoB seem reluctant subsequently to play this song which is a real shame. I'm delighted you've reviewed this as it's my favourite VoB song and I was interested to have your take, as musicians, on it. You were to the point as always. My thanks..
I've listened to VoB for over 2 years. I've never heard this track before. Bravo for you guys to find some of their early works.

VOB Amazing! They is easy to play tricky a song, many parts, changing beat and the kind of style/genre. Crazy Skill!
Don't tell Band-Maid not to have the lead and bass going crazy at the same time. This is a great song, really shows their versatility. I liked all the tempo changes in it. Great reaction guys.

To put this into context, this was three very brave young women (still in their teens, 2019) strongly speaking out (at a major event in their nation's capital) against a government bill that looked to place a lot of restrictions on Indonesian musicians (ultimately the bill didn't pass, primarily due to protests from musicians). These lyrics appeared on the screen behind them: "Membaca RUU Permusikan seperti membaca represi ORLA membaca bau busuk ORBA", which roughly translates to "Reading the Music Bill is like reading ORLA's repression, reading the stench of ORBA" (ORLA and ORBA were previous government regimes). They opened this show with a cover of Raining Blood.
I love that music can come from anyone regardless of what they look like or what they believe in. It’s truly a universal language that directly communicates to your core emotions.

7- KENTUT MERDEKA translation as (INDEPENDENCE FART.) VOB protest about Music Act. Some terms limited freedom of music composition. For VOB music is freedom about creativity.. etc.
Not listened to them a lot, just a few songs, but I've voted for them to come to a local rock festival so who knows :)
2019 is before they study again with musicians in their field and starting 2021, 2022, 2023 they will get better at music... they are always in the process. This song at SHOEBOX STUDIO better good sound

Kentut Merdeka title actually translates as " Fart Free"
Song talks about how the government mistreats people from the aspect of rules and regulations in the music industry and how it is believed to be a bunch of BS. Here are lyrics to the song:
