Thank you for your video series. They have helped me tremendously with my Environmental Science degree, and you helped inspire me to get back into college and choose that major. Keep up the good work!

The rocks all appear to be of the same type. Do you know what they are? I have read that the geology of western California is comprised of numerous island arcs that accreted and can therefore by quite complex.

Thank you so much! I have a full length lecture on the geology of rivers that has taken a lot of time to pull together. Hopefully I will have that released very soon!

Hello mr. Professor, when I work at a field, collect some stones which is too fragile and white colored. But I don't know which type of stone. If I emailed you with photographs, could you recognize them? Thank you.

Have you checked through the other videos on this channel? There are quite a lot of geology based shows which highlight a lot of geography.

It's a video processing error from when I uploaded the video to RUclips. A few pixels momentarily went white right there for some reason. It's not present in the source video.
