- Being a K-Pop idol might bring fame and money, but even popular stars can end up struggling financially, and some had to find regular jobs to support their music career.

I m happy for those idols who still had a side job regular jobs
The difference between Jeongyeon and the other idols is she worked by choice for her mental health, not because she needed the money
Mayne she needed the money ? Twice aren't all rich as yall think they r
@@willa9880 They may not be as rich as we think but compared to many other idols, Jeongyeon is more well known and is in a more stable situation.
@@willa9880 Their last tour brought 120mln. Under normal contracts jype gives idols 50% and in a new contract they probably have more and that is just one tour. Their sales are good too and that is when they are over their peak. She is rich.
A career as an Idol can be short lived and not as lucrative if you are not hugely successful so its a good idea that these idols have a backup plan with regular jobs to fall on if doesn't work out for them in the long term
I think kpop idols having a side job that's regular/normal can relieve their stress from the industry. It's good for their mental health, and adds more to their scope of experiences.
I saw jeongyeon, I clicked 🎀🎀🎀💕
I'm so proud for our girl jyeongyeon ❤❤❤
8:08 - "Now she even has a professional coffee maker in her own apartment."
That makes it sound like someone is living with her with the sole job of making coffee for her. LOL!
Jyeongyeon very inspiring ❤😢
VANNER HAS A COMEBACK YESTERDAY WITH AUTOMATIC!!!!!
For the people who are interested
Let's go jeongyeon
As a (TripleS) fan of SS501 I’ve been following the members sometimes, and Kim Hyun Joong just did that farming for RUclips content it’s not his full time side job. As soon as that content ended he put that land up for sale. So I hope people don’t misunderstand it. He is still an idol continuing his job as a singer.
You forget about the idols who took up part-time jobs at the Burning Sun club. Highly lucrative and connections to the rich folks in korea.
Who ?
A lot of kpop idols also work regular job.
A job as a STUDENT 💀
Then maybe I'm an Idol too 😂
Being a student is an occupation, not a job (because they arent being paid for that)
I’m not sure where all you guys from, but I’m a Chinese and my family are Hong Kong based. I heard from many interviews that many Hong Kong actors/actress can’t really get enough of jobs in their acting career either to become a brand ambassador. So basically, many of them decided to work in random jobs from behind the scene either to create their own business. The reason is, they still have to live & taking care of their family with money. Same as actors in China not everyone are famous enough to become brand ambassador or getting a job that can earn million dollars. They’re human too, so they need money to survive by working random jobs.
Vanner is a group of popular kpop idols?💀💀💀
Been great watching Choa flourish on her YT channel, she was my favorite member of AOA and nice to see her be successful after AOA.
There is a saying, "10% of the groups, make 90% of the money" in K-Pop.
K-pop idols have 7yrs contract and when the contracts expire and disbanded they need go on their on path,at my point I think it’s really important to have a strong mindset for what job will fit them and good at it.Y’know some idols have multi talents like their voices, dance skills, composing and some are really good in fashion line.If they have a good unique voice, they can work as a voice actor
any update about hyunA?
so none of them started a OF, thats where the big bucks is at
Love Vanner and am so proud of them ❤🙏
jeongyeon can already open her own cafe n she the owner
Jeongyeon is so cool for that!
First 🎉
K-pop idols aren’t allowed to have a side job
how do u know are u there manager or family? just shut ur mouth 😂
I believe thats not entirely true, it probably pretends on the company they are under.
it depends on their companies rules
@@blackpinkislife221 Maybe she's talking about any groups with management who wouldn't allowed their artists to take side jobs lol
@@blackpinkislife221 typical blink behavior lmao
