Is there any reason why Philips makes the water containers so narrow that we can not clean them normally..... It's just unbelievable narrow and not reachable..... Please make a video about that small container....
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Andres Justus I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hey there Cesar, the Cappuccino pad can only be used in the Large pad and will product a medium cup of Cappuccino. We hope this helps you out. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
@@Philips No, I mean during the cleaning procedure. The video says that a coffee pad should be used with the large cup, is that correct? Shouldn't a Cappuccino pad be used instead? or maybe two coffee pads?
Thank you for your response, Cesar. Please feel free to contact us through Facebook or Twitter. Our specialists will be able to assist you further through these platforms, and answer all your questions. We hope to hear from you soon!
Hello. I got new Philips CSA250 and was trying to do the flushing as user manual instructions. But when I press both buttons, process doesn’t start, just one button remain flashing, the one I released 1 millisecond later… Please let me know if there is a way to resolve this. Thanks.
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Philips CSA250. To better assist you, could you please provide us with the product sticker details, including the serial number and any other relevant information? This will help us diagnose the problem and provide you with a solution.
@@Philips I’m not sure if you understood, the data from sticker is written in my previous comment. So, can you help me do the flushing and start using my machine please?
The manual says that I should press both 1 and 2 (coffee) buttons simultaneously but that doesn’t do anything. RUclips says press both buttons AND hold it 5 seconds so the calc lamp starts all 3 lamps start flashing (including calc). Soon water should go out from the container. As I described , in my case nothing happens. I tried leaving it like that, still nothing.
Hi there, Rafael. Thanks for reaching us with this interesting question! The music you are listening to is 'Cool Wallpaper' by Bob Bradley and Noel Dennis. Hope this answers your question! Enjoy!
does anyone know what to do with machines that doesnt have the cups buttons? mine has touch buttons which means its not allowing me even let the water run
Thank you for providing us with this information, Nomin. You can find the manual for the HD7870/60 here: to.philips/60521tLjn. We hope this helps and should you need any further assistance then please feel free to get back to us.
Philips hi i’m having a problem with my coffee machine. Its refusing to even heat up the water with descale and the power button is switching on/off continuously that its not even allowing me to push to cup buttons so i cant let the water run through ... is it broken? what can i do?
Hi Nomin, thanks for reaching out to us. :) We're sorry to hear about that. Could you perhaps tell us your country of residence, so that we can look deeper into this for you. Looking forward to your reply. 😇
Okay this procedure is wrong. You don't need a used coffee pad, you don't need a large container and you don't need to do it twice. I filled the water tank, put the switch on, pressed both single and double coffee cup buttons together and the calc light flashed and it rinsed the unit and that was it. You don't need to swap the coffee pad holders from the shallow to the deep one, just use one...done. Anything that needs to follow Philips Instructions is a device that left the lab before they had time to finish developing it. Removing calcification should not be a chore. I never used any chemical and the light went off and the unit works perfectly. The light is based on a timer and starts to flash after x number of cups and has nothing to do with any actual calcification buildup. if you really do have a problem, cheap vinegar will work.
Thank you Wayne! You are far and away better than anything I’ve seen from the manufacturers. I think you saved my Senseo for me. Big hug. I love my Senseo and cannot get them here in the US any longer. So much is broken here but no longer is my Senseo among them.Thank you so much.
Nah. I'll just buy a new machine. Seriously though this process needs to be vastly improved and simplified. Your engineers need to get on this. Who wants to devote half an hour on their coffee machine. We have lives and jobs and children.

I followed the instructions on the website and it never says I need to press both buttons simultaneously. Now that I did that, de calc light started blinking and the machine started descaling. You should reference that older models have a different way of descaling

I practice it today. Working every well. Very simple.
Already did 5 full water containers to rinse the machine, but the water still feels a bit acid.
Does the large cup procedure require a coffee pad? Can't I use a large pad instead (like a Capuccino pad)?

Anyone know how often you should do this?
There is a little ''calc'' indicator on the front side of the senseo machine. If the red light goes on than you will need to folow this procedure.
