One of the changes that I found interesting from the animation to the comics, is that in their reunion in the comics, when Mark hugs his father, Mark starts to cry and beg Nolan for him to come home, to his mother and make everything go back to the way it was before, it was quite touching. but Mark's reaction here made more sense.

Mark has only been full Viltrume for a year . Omniman and the others are around 2000 years old the fact that Mark doesn’t explode when he gets punched shows how strong he is . 2000 years of experience vs 1 and still puts up a fight .
