Some other important points; Bannu DIKhan Road; was designed & under supervision constructed by first engineer from the city Ram.N.Malik,qualified from Banaras University. 1-Bannu Wollen Mills: manufacturing world class wollen fabric product since 1953. 2-Bannu Airport;was serving people of district & suburbs. Later was shut down but Mian Nawaz Shareef announced its up-gradation to International level. Bannu Museum;established by provincial govt & under the department of archeology treasures relics from Akra,Lak Largi & other excavation sites. Akra relics are actually the remnants of the greatest Indus civilization from Mohenjo Daro to Harrapa,onward in the North Takhtbhai to the South Bannu & Kafrkot D.I.KHAN. Bannu Shoes;a vast market of producing Peshawari,Charsadda & traditional varieties with unique standards popular locally & abroad. Bannu produces vegetable & fruits unique in fragrance & taste like dates,figs,guava,banana,rice,corn,okra,cocumber. Bannu Helva(Wresha), Sohen Helva,Spices (Masala Jat) are known gifts-liked & much demanded in & abroad.
