I love this planner. It’s straight to the point and has everything I need. I have used it the last two years. I made stickers for dates and subjects.

I’m so glad it is working for you!! I do wish there was a smaller version of it though.

That’s a great set up, I’m amazed at how people organize for homeschooling.

New subbie here! I definitely enjoyed watching! I’m trying the Homeschool Planner out this year and I’m loving how you’ve set yours up. I’ve used the ECTLP for the past 6 years, but I’m glad to see it’s more homeschool focused. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hey hey!! So glad you are here! I do love how it is homeschool focused! I’m curious about the release this year…wondering if it’ll have any changes?!

Thank you for this interesting video and the comparison! We're starting homeschooling in the summer and I'm currently looking for a suitable planner for us and how we can organize ourselves. I'm already really excited! 😊 How do you keep additional notes, comments and instructions for individual lessons on a particular day? There's not much space for that. I would be very grateful for any suggestions. ❤

Hi! I use a lot of open and go curriculum, so I don't need too much room for writing instruction. There is space in the margin to write notes if you need to. Another option is to add a sticky note? But you are right there isn't a ton of room. I am actually going to try the EC Monthly for this year. It has the monthly and lined pages for the rest. I'll have to update you on how that is working.

I'm having the same issue trying to figure out the weekly pages 😅 like do I put kids names on top or side or dates or subjects or what lol. I think I'm going to try subjects across the top and names on the left that way I have a whole box for each subject for each kid. But thennn where to add the dates?? LOL 🤪

So many ways to do it!! I guess the dates could be tiny either across the top or down the side?

It looks so cute! I homeschool one of my kids (we kind of let the kids do whatever fits them best, so we have kids all over the place haha) I should try this planner out!!

The planner perfect method or planners don’t really work for homeschool planning in my opinion. I love my PP tn’s but once I realized Jenny isn’t really a homeschooler but an unschooler it made sense why her homeschool planner layout could never work. I wish she had more layout options in general or took feedback. Have you heard of Golden Coil planners? I’ve been customizing notebooks and planners with them for my homeschool planner. Same thick paper as EC, just a crème color and lots and lots customizable layouts. They have many homeschool or school layouts available. They actually listen to their customers for layout feedback.

I was just looking at golden coil! I might create one to use this coming school year!

@@Libertyschoolhouseplans if you pick the planner option you can select a specific start/end date. This option you have to pick a weekly layout. I did that at first but my planner pages were too many and at the time Golden Coil didn’t have that many school related pages. They took feedback and now they have so many school layouts :) however, to make all the pages I want fit into one book I have to customize a notebook instead and just insert monthly printed calendars. I add about 40 pages of the “undated monthly” layout to plan my homeschool week. I’m so happy with GC as my homeschool planner. I’m already playing around with the layouts and reorganizing pages to order a new one for next school year 😂 I think this will be like my 4th or 5th year using GC :) I still use PP for journaling and to hold my sterling ink TN. I also use A5 sterling ink as my common planner and this year I play with rings. I may go back to PP but Jenny needs to accept feedback and give us layout options. lol
