This episode is heavy. Please tell me that this is going to be a 13-episode season. The opening montage (2:20) is so prophetic that this season cannot be short. The opening montage makes me expect a love triangle but the flashback (6:50) distorts the continuity editing. So, there is no love triangle here because the dramatic irony suggested by the flashback hints there is more than meets the eye. Again, I expect a second murder where the visitor at 6:11 is the victim. He heard a commotion and saw a broken bucket. Of course, eye-witness testimony is often less effective in court, but this character should be a problem. He should try to warn the new lover,. This warning should prompt the murder...you know just as an insurance policy. Of course, there are many ways to make this happen as writers hold the power of life and death in films. Then the main male character here fits the profile of a guy with shady deals. He should reappear even for 13 episodes without a problem. This should get messier and more fun as it develops. I just hope whoever wrote this (pilot) episode understands the weight of the responsibility they just put on their shoulders. They say expectations are the thief of joy, but I'm gonna give it a chance with this series. I hope you set aside enough production budget (hahaa). Just in case one worries about the banality of a long series, they can run it concurrently with other short stuff or add intense suspense between episodes. Flashback of how exactly this man got rid of the body can really help us understand the cruelty of this male character. I can already see darkness in him, but show us more. please 😭😭😭😂😂😂. Shoutout to the editor. I can feel the work he put to make this whole because...hiyo ni kazi! Like, there should be jump-cuts but he does not put any and mantains a fair amount of continuity. I do not know if people realize just how hard it is to keep a film so short complete. Good job. I must say I love the directorial work here. When I saw the kitchen scene (0:10), the first question that popped up in my head was: who is this amazing director? Kazi safi!
