Staring at a box from B&H with GFX 100 II and new 55mm in it. Got hooked on MF after a brief fling with Hasselblad X1D II 50C but struggled with focus. Hope this will address. 55mm is a bit large for my taste. What do you recommend for everyday carry compact zoom or prime.
Hello. GFX 100ll AF wil certainly be another level up vs the Hassy. As for everyday lens, I personally prefer prime. I love the 45mm F2.8. As for zoom the "kit" 35-70mm is a worthy consideration. Cheers
@@FujiFanBoys One zoom and one prime will be enough for me. I hope Sony will announce this camera in 2025, after the Olympics. And the optics will be both smaller and cheaper with a curved sensor.

The 'cheap' 35-70 is really quite good, surprisingly so.
I still prefer to wait for a Sony medium format camera with a curved sensor.
unfortunately its will take years before a system becomes mature with the a range of native lenses to support. Time being enjoy a GFX.

@@bioliv1 I read somewhere that because of the curve sensor there will be no zoom. only prime lenses.
@@FujiFanBoys What! I must check that out. Thanks for the information.
Fuji needs to give us with the new processor some of these new video features and maybe that film simulation…. Stick it to Sony.
