Also, I'm so glad you noticed that J-hope really loves dancing. Dancing is his passion and what led him to audition for BTS.
The name Hope On the Street refers to the times that he would do freestyle dancing posts/ snipets/livestreams from different places like a hotel room in his robe and slippers!😂
He's quickly become one of our favorites. We just love his overall attitude and of course how talented he is.

Thanks for your reaction! In fact, the visualizer is an ensemble of videos, from J-Hope performing to be a trainee (red sweater), some dance practice, Hope on the street (lives where he danced for us), and Hope on the street (docuseries).

You might want to give his docuseries a try, even just the first episode. The editing is very creative and they shoot in different cities around the world and different areas like bridges, tunnels, and of course - streets. And Neuron is his first dance crew, the docu doesn't contain BTS (except for I Wonder with JK) but with different dance masters.
I can say that you will really like his performance at Lollapalooza as a headliner, you should definitely watch several of his performances, please. Thanks for your reaction and comments

Yes. It's a thing. It's his documentary "Hope on the Street". He films in famous cities. And dances with famous street dancers at those locations. The doc is good. He is examining his life as he goes back through his dance history. Yes. That was Neuron, his first dance group, where he started learning dance. The documentary is about his dance. But he also shares his life philosophy. As directors I think you would really be interested in the exquisite filming and art direction in this doc. I've seen 5 episodes. I will go back and watch it again. This doc is labeled Season 1. There will be more. I have no doubt. When did "Hope on the Street" start? Years ago. He filmed his dance all throughout his life at BTS. His wardrobe. He has a stylist, but know this. He had "a hand" in picking out every outfit. And every detail in the doc is from him or has his approval. I hope you watch it. It's on Prime video. But I don't know if you want to take a kind of detour and just focus on his doc. You could intersperse the episodes through other BTS choices. Enjoy. You said he always smiles. You haven't seen his album "Jack in the Box" yet. He surprised us.
He wrote some songs during the pandemic. And he isn't smiling. Watch "More" and "Arson." Enjoy.

Hello Mr Scott and Mr Sam. Loved your reaction. Hope on the Streets is a docu-series which was conceptualized and drafted by J hope and he shot the series going to places around the world and interacting with top dancers who one can say are pioneers in the industry. Yes there was shot from Paris not sure about Amsterdam. The series is being aired right now on Amazon Prime. and the album Hope on the street is actually collection of OST from this docu-series. Most of the dancing scenes in studio are from early BTS days him practicing (Jimin in background in some) and some from recent also but the one u were referring was with his dance group Neuron before he joined BTS. He wanted to go back to his root that was the reason of him making this series. I should have also mentioned that you were right Mr Scott because Hobi is always smiling and has a very happy disposition he is also known as the "Sunshine"of the group. in fact there has been instances (behind the scenes - videos) wherein on their solo shoots other members have said that they need Jhope or they will be exhausted.
He is great dancer and human being as well. He is our sunshine,..please checkout his document series and jack in the box album as well.....his every solo is great and his solo performance even in their concerts, lollapalooza, mama was always been great.love to see your solo Hobi reaction..thankyou keep going.

Nice reaction! Since you guys are filmmakers I highly recommend a bit of a throwback with 'Blood, Sweat & Tears', which is one of their most cinematic videos. I'd also love to see you react to the series of short films they released leading up to that video, which are really interesting and beautifully shot. They're part of a larger storyline running through a lot of BTS' earlier work.

As mentioned he visited 5 cities in the Prime Video series. His friend and mentor Boogaloo Kin (Haknam Kim) traveled with him and they met up with a different person in each city, who is an expert in different street dance styles. The last episode is in his hometown of Gwangju Korea where he reconnected with his old dance team Neuron. 💜🃏
Hope on the Street docu-series is on Prime Video now. It has six episodes. Hopefully, there will be a Vol. 2 out. J Hope is just so talented and it was a joy to watch him dance and go back to his roots. Even shows his former dance crew Neuron. Also, as others have said, check out his songs More and Arson, also Equal Sign from his 2022 album Jack in the Box and of course his outstanding performance at 2022 Lollapalooza in Chicago
There is a 6part docu series on prime to go with this release where he showcases different dance styles with his masters. It’s a thing of beauty and you get to see him dance as well as learn. He is a self proclaimed perpetual learner.

He did popping, locking, house, hiphop, and neuron dances with known experts in those fields. JHope wants to give spotlight to street dancing as paying homage to his roots.

Loved your reaction. This is for J Hope new documentary Hope on the Street that is on Amazon prime. J hope also released an album to go with this. One of the songs feat Jungkook (JK). There is also behind the scenes footage. Each episode is in a different place like his home town, Japan, Paris, New York, several others places so far 6 episodes. I can not remember how many this doc has.
If you remember BTS debuted in 2010. Most members like J Hope trained for three years with Big Hit before this. I do believe this video show the dance group J Hope started with in middle school, Neuron. When you watch the documentary ( and in this mv) there is a gentleman that was with Neuron that J Hope asked to come along on his journey.
A couple of other mv of J Hope I highly recommend is More and Arson, also performed live. J Hope puts in that order when he performs them live are a must see in my opinion. Not part of this documentary but gives you a different vibe of his talent. Blessings

That's our dancing machine! Since you two are film producers, I recommend the MVs More and Arson from j-hope's Jack In The Box album. I think you'll be surprised and impressed by the range of Hobi's creativity.
J-Hope allways smile - but he is human and owns allso his "Blueside". Jack in the box -album is little bit darker. (And pandemic-time has affect quite a lot to BTS soloworks, we all remember that frustration time)

I love this song, Jhope is the best dancer, he is pure perfection when dancing, some of the others are passionate (V), sexy (Jimin) or hot (JK) when dancing but our sunshine is very professional and accurate in every move. "Visualizers" are what music industry calls videos which are made to accompany a song, but aren't as elaborated (and high cost) as an actual music video
They're really common on kpop, specially for songs other than the title tracks or songs singled out for promotion, because part of the audience uses YT as their main music platform, so this kind of videos (and lyrics videos) are a helpful tool besides being interesting to watch. They're usually created with existing footage from other content or animations/motion graphics

i might sound a little mean and i am sorry to those who actually enjoy kpop. but i only listen to BTS so i dont want recomendations from the ones i subcribe to when they react to other kpop groups.
i just got so tired of that because it means less bts, and i all i kept seeing was content i don´t want. so there's really no point in subscribing if it´s only 1 video a week or so. so i always wait a bit to se if it´s worth subscribing or not, hope you understand.
