Love Thibodaux but OG Brunson(foot) and Hart was on him, no doubt. And not to mention waiting to play Burks after Bogdon went down. But all and all I’m still proud of this team and hope we can run it back next year and years to come
Why am i paying for a 12 to 14 man roster for a coach just to use 7 players all year and only when everyone drops you use the rest of the bench? Cmon now how is that good coaching ? Looks more like a waste of money. Look at how d rose got hurt, tibs minutes didnt help at all. And hes doing it again.
It's common for all teams in the playoffs to only play 7-8 players, especially the deeper you go into the playoffs. The starters get more minutes. Now I have not watched Knicks games during the regular season. If Thibs played 7-8 players for all 82 games, that is insane but I doubt that's true.
Then fire him and try and find a coach that will have y'all playing high level defense like the last few years , it's crazy you think it's the Coach maybe it's just bad luck lol
TJ McConnell is CP3's competitive doppelganger... love that dude! BTW, if no one's talkin' 'bout it - these ain't'cha Daddy's Pacers and 'cause they've nothin' to lose I believe they'll beat Boston!
Most of these injuries came from contact, not from players playing too many minutes , Randle\ hard foul, Robinson/ hard foul, Bogi/ hard foul, Brunson/ swipe
Thibodeau needs to go! What has Thibodeau accomplished in his many years as a coach? Coach of the Year ain't an accomplishment. Time after time, Thibodeau loses the big/meaningful games, he's slow to make adjustments, he's stubborn, he destroys players, he has never won a title as a head coach, folks are saying he made the Knicks a winner (have you seen their squad; they are supposed to win, and they talk about his defensive mind - yet his teams lose quite a few double digit leads, and lets not forget the Pacers just set a record for highest shooting percentage in a game at 67.1% vs this defensive minded coach. This negates that whole defensive coach argument. Thibodeau has to be replaced. I'd be shocked if the Knicks were to win with him. He hasn't won with anyone.
The objective is to win. If you are relying on the number 10-15 bench players in the playoffs after freak injuries decimate your roster (Randle on a questionable play from Miami, Mitch the second by an Embiid dirty play, Bogey on Batuum diving onto his ankle) OG the first time on an elbow injury not related to playing time you are going home 0-4 first round. Look at the top minute getters in the NBA this season, not the Knicks., Look at minutes played by stars in the playoffs historically.. over 40 minutes. Wilt averaged over 48 minutes per game one year (several ot games, he never came out). Ewing from 1990-94 averaged over 40 minutes per game. Michael Jordan averaged between 40 and 45 minutes per game in the playoffs his entire career. Magic Johnson had multiple years where he averaged 42 to 43 minutes per game in the playoffs. Larry Bird had a year where he averaged almost 45 minutes per game in the playoffs. Stop blaming Thibs. Blame the salary cap for making it difficult to get good bench players after you pay your stars. Look at Denver this year. No bench and they lost.
There are a couple of problems with what you just said 😂 first of all, NOBODY on your team is as good as any of those players you mentioned that play high minutes, secondly Mitch is known to be injury prone while OG has missed 30+ games in 4 of the past 5 seasons and Bojan is 35 years old 💀 you guys knew what you were getting into when you traded that depth away (randle is unlucky)
It took injuries for Thibs to start using Grimes and Burke and they were pretty good, if he just trusted them more before all the injuries, maybe only Randle and Robinson was sitting on the sideline. Anunoby missed weeks then play 40+ minutes right away, God that's worse than Hart bc he is conditioned to play that long during the season.
So are we not going to comment on the repeated times Halaburton (whatever his name is) takes four and five steps before launching his shots?? NBA is trash
Yea, he's the only one in this league doing that... smh. How about Brunson shoving defenders off every time he gets in the paint to make room for a shot? Hard to understand the officiating any more. It's so inconsistent. Lebron get's like 5 steps and nothing gets called. lol

The media trying to get Tom fired is crazy work
only reason he has a job is bc KG Pierce and Allen carried him to a chip while he was assistant coach
@@chopstick107 no one asked you
nobody asked for your corny opinion about a shitty soft team in the first place but you still posted it

15 man roster

@@mangesh9034305 he hasn't
U don’t know what you’re talking about…stop talking about the Knicks plz
Thibs needs a rotation coach, just someone to sub in players
He has not learned his lesson from injuring Derrick rose with all those minutes. Same old Knicks
He did not injure D Rose stop it

Tyrese must have a passport on the court he traveled all night. Twice in 2 seconds @ 0:26

I cannot wait to hear more about the knicks tomorrow too.
Tibbs is too blame He did the same thing as Chicago. This isn’t 2K. You have to give guys rest.
Shut up 🤫
You just eating dick….u not even a Knicks fan
With the heart, talent and effort that bench showed, I don't know why they don't get more minutes. They played their @ss off during this series.
Who does he play then? The whole bench is injured bro
This is a stupid take. The guys couldn't stay healthy. He needed the high performers more than anything what the hell did you expect him to do?
Haliburton traveled 6 times in these highlights alone 😂
TJ McConnell is 6'1" I've stood next to him
Tj McConnell is a folk hero

I totally agree with everything you said dude.

Turner is not a role player 😭💀💀💀💀💀
His reputation precedes him

Anunoby missed weeks then play 40+ minutes right away, God that's worse than Hart bc he is conditioned to play that long during the season.
The narrative has followed him for all 3 of his coaching stops in the NBA.
You know what they say about smoke and fire right?
Nobody WANTS to ADMIT that N.Y. was completely Decimated with injuries lol but this is sports lmao.
Of course it’s Thibs fault
Isiah Thomas is available if the Knicks need a coach.
Thibs playing MYTEAM fr 🤣
Tom is the one coaching so yes, Tom is the one ultimately responsible.
Good for you, Jalen. Very "Kobe-esque".

Pacers beat an injured team lol😅
You are correct, but else should they have done? 🤷
knicks didn’t beat anybody lol 😅
Knicks beat a injured philly
wait so how long has it been since the knicks made a conference final? 😂
i love thibs too, but he already ruined d. rose's career & he still dropped 50 for him in Minnesota🤷🏾♂️
