    Anything 70’s was the real deal . Just about , everything about , the 70’s was the best part of my life to ever live . These movies , the ladies starring in them . The gas price’s and everyday NORMAL life fun . Now 50 years later at 56 years old. It’s all getting further and further away from me, with only memories and RUclips , to visually enjoy a time in life everybody born in or before . Enjoyed and wish was here now ✌️N❤️2all

      Movie kinda sucked (Corvette Summer). But I saw it on TV when I was a kid. I was a late '70s-early '80s Corvette NUT!!! So I thought this was the best movie EVER. I MEAN you have Luke Skywalker in a custom 'Vette!!!!
      I'd talk about the movie with people in the '80s and NOBODY had EVER heard of it.
      I watched it again sometime in the "90s, as an adult, and saw it for what it REALLY was: pretty corny/bad.
      Watched again on RUclips a few months ago, that car is hideous!
      What caught me on your comment was it being the first movie you saw in a theater. ME TOO!
      I had seen movies at the drive-in but watched Star Wars in a walk-in theater in Baker Oregon.
      I was so dumb I thought they were going to actually act it out like a play!
      Didn't know what it was, I was like 5 years old. I only knew Star Wars from the toys I'd seen.

    It's not seen very much, but the Bandit Trans Am is different between Smokey and the Bandit and the sequel. A coworker of mine recently obtained a black Trans Am clone of the Bandit car. He was trying to find a correct CB antenna for the car. The correct one for his car is a base load design and the other car had a Firestick on the trunk lid. I recently received an old truck with a base load antenna almost falling from the roof. Now the Trans Am is correct.

      The second movie used a 1980 Turbo Trans Am, which was the last "facelift" before the full redesign of 1982. Big difference in engine as well (Olds 403/4.9 L) even with the turbo, it could barely get out of it's own way....lol.

    Good video. I don't understand the metrics by which the women were judged but still damn fine.

    • @MFPMapFilmProductions
      @MFPMapFilmProductions  Год назад +2

      Cheers. It goes by as close as can be to involvement, how important to a car chase and movie/show was the character chosen. If they partook in the chase or were a main character to the story. Did they get their own vehicle and chase scene. Was the movie they were in a chase movie or were they in a chase scene. How known is their character within the car chase genre. Example, had Lynday Carter actually gotten her own muscle car and chase where her character drove, and due to being one of the most famously attractive women of the 70s, she most likely would have taken the number 1 spot. Had Farrah done a proper car chase within the show, she would have ranked higher. Same with Mary from DMCL if she actually drove one of the main cars, she would have ranked higher too. Its not easy to chose the slots as they often change over the course of creating these videos when more info is gathered and some new entries are remembered and replaced.

    did you say the 1973 Dodge Polara got a 440 Super Commando now a Super Commando is a Plymouth 440 and Dodge had it call Magnum for it single carb 4barrel Mopar Big Block V8 from 1968-1971

    • @MFPMapFilmProductions
      @MFPMapFilmProductions  Год назад +1

      After rechecking notes taken, you are correct. Come around 1973, usage began to drop of the names Magnum and Super Commando and had began referring them simply as a 440 engine option available as the high HP output of the late 60s had dropped come the mid 70s. Though both the Magnum and Super Commando were basically the same engine, they were marketed differently between Dodge and Plymouth. During research there were those who would refer to their police package as 440 "Super Commando" as opposed to Magnum. Editing is now underway to remove this reference. Thank you for your input.
