They would still get some fans out in NY. I would like to book them with All out war, Sworn Enemy & some other hardcore bands. I booked them back in the 90's & early 2000's. NYHC fans are loyal & even 20 years later if they are alive they will represent. Hardcore was not a fad its a lifestyle. HC forever
Played with many great bands like Anthrax, hatebreed, Immolation, I'll nino, DRI, Overkill too name a few. Still E town, Fury of five, Sworn Enemy & my boys Irate top the list. Candiria too just cause those where & still are some of my favorite bands ever.
Music is music, everybody can say that they had great taste in it, in some way or another. Music is an opinion, friend, and so everybody is entitled to their own. That said, I DO miss listening to these guys.
These dudes started out rapping over drums as a joke band. Even their name was meant to be a corny joke. I think "over the top wiggerness" is an integral part of this obviously talented band.
E town = the city of Elizabeth NJ sections are hood AF... a lot of people don't take this band serious but they are hard as fuck with the metal and got the street cred living the hood life..... thats what sets them apart from the suburban bands that are similar they didn't love that hood life.
This chorus of this song always got me bigtime in the feels! 🙌🏽🫵🥲🥹😅
