I can’t imagine having this beautiful woman being in love with me. Then through a bizarre set of circumstances my best friend unknowingly falls for her too. Danny wasn’t trying to hurt raffe. He didn’t even know he was alive he was presumed dead. Helen needed someone to be there for her and Danny was the man. Sometimes you just find yourself doing things that you never thought you would do and it’s only later when you reflect back on it that maybe it wasn’t the right decision at that time. But hindsight is always 20/20.

You missed the point, Stephanie. The whole point of this was to gain an appreciation for the sacrifice those who fought in the Pacific made. Most don't even appreciate the sacrifice made in the European theater, but a lot of attention is paid to D-Day and storming the beaches at Normandy. But relatively few know and appreciate just how miserable and daunting it was for those who were, among other places, fighting to take Guadalcanal back from the Japanese. They didn't have nearly the logistical support that those in the European theater had and it was a hard row to hoe.
