Agreed, something I just noticed with golden wind is the chains. Everyone of the main crew except for three are seen bound by the chains, One has chains mirroring the sands of time, one stoically walks while the chains have bound him, another constantly breaks the chains but can’t escape. The three that avoid them are mista who continues to weave around them finding the path to the future, Gio simple changes them to vines (growth) and fugo leaves as the chains appear on screen (walks away) I think it’s perfect foreshadowing to the inevitably of fate and how giorno’s determination is capable of changing it.
I love how in the first opening, it shows a couple of panels from every part in parts 1-6 (the original universe) going back in time to Jonathan, it’s a really cool detail that I’m glad the animators put in
Also note that with Dio, his panels go forward in time, while with Jojo, it goes back, and at the end the sequence goes back, hinting to Johnathan prevailing.
You know it’s a good jojo op when: -The song is fire and fits the vibe of the part/section of that part -Spoilers everywhere but you don’t know because you didn’t watch a video revealing them -The last op of that part gets the main antagonist interrupting it later on

I like how Stand Proud has the symbolism of Johnathan, Joseph, and Jotaro's journeys. Johnathan's eyes close which mean his journey already ended, Joseph's eyes are still open which mean his journey is still continuing, and Jotaro's eyes opening meant at that time, he just started his journey. Despite all the Jojokes about the OPs, all of them are incredible with symbolism behind their sequences.

i love the subtle detail that in the second version of Great Days, Hayato no longer looks depressed but instead looks determined. He's the only one who, in reverse, completely changes his story. The hat is lifted from his eyes because he is the only one who can see the truth thanks to how Bites the Dust works
I fucking love the details and symbolism in these openings. For example, I just noticed the chains in the Fighting Gold opening. Pretty sure they reflect fate and how the characters are bound to it, or not. - Abbacchio is portrayed as a chain bound to time in the form of a sand clock, reflecting his ability and his acceptance of being a failure. - Narancia is surounded by chains, reflecting of how he is a child brought up by fate and can't escape it - Bruno tries to break the chains, but they keep recapturing him, reflecting how he is tries his best to protect the gang, but ultimately can't change his or their fate - Mysta keeps running away from the chains and they can't catch up to him, reflecting on how he keeps escaping fate and near death - Fugo simply ducks away as soon as the chains appear, reflecting on how he is scared to challenge his fate and stays behind - Trish is surrounded by chains, reflecting her fate of being disposed by her father, but they ultimately break, reflecting the gangs willingness to challenge fate for her sake - Giorno changes the chains into vines, reflecting his ability, how he nurtures others and ultimately changes fate Basically the op spoils Rolling stones without actually spoiling Rolling stones. There is countless stuff like that, DP are the goat.
*Love* how the first opening starts with a rewind from Stone Ocean all the way back to Phantom Blood. The story that started it all, the entire bizarre adventure of the original universe.
It's been almost 4 years since I watched Jojo. I just got back into it recently again and I still love the openings as much I love the show! Truly holds a special place in my heart..
I just love how creative and detailed these OPs are! The way Dio is already behind Jotaro in The End of Time, but the later version shows him walking by or how the blood droplets suddenly appear in Requiem even before "time-manipulated" version and that's just what I noticed
5:24 if you pay attention you can see it actually shows what all the characters were doing when they died. Avdol and Iggy died trying to protect polnareff, and Kakyoin died doing his 20-meter emerald splash.
Bloody stream is by far my favourite intro song. Idk it just gives me an overwhelming amount of motivation to start training my body to look like jojo also I love how at the end it looks like jojo is the one singing when he screams
If you look closely you can see all the upcoming jojo's up to jolyne at the start of the very first opening flashing on the manga panels, you can even see their stands.
That was the first thing I noticed when I watched Jojo for the first time and I was like "why did they stop at 6? Aren't there more parts?" Boy did I understand when I finished Stone Ocean.
Honestly Part3 is my absolute favorite. Part of that is because of the changing intros, and the original characters that I could recognize immediately. I also love part4 just as much because of the intro thing, but because it’s always so upbeat and colorful.
My fav part is SDC, problem is half of the part was either filled with the characters or doesn't have any characters, it depend if you consider enemy stand users major characters or minor. In my case, they were minor
When the part 3 opening first changed to having Dio in I nearly screamed lmao, it was so intense to have something different and creative like that come into play, and when they did that too with part 4 with going backwards I remember freaking out so much. I fucking love the details and symbolism in these openings. For example, I just noticed the chains in the Fighting Gold opening. Pretty sure they reflect fate and how the characters are bound to it, or not.
- Abbacchio is portrayed as a chain bound to time in the form of a sand clock, reflecting his ability and his acceptance of being a failure.
- Narancia is surounded by chains, reflecting of how he is a child brought up by fate and can't escape it
- Bruno tries to break the chains, but they keep recapturing him, reflecting how he is tries his best to protect the gang, but ultimately can't change his or their fate
- Mysta keeps running away from the chains and they can't catch up to him, reflecting on how he keeps escaping fate and near death
- Fugo simply ducks away as soon as the chains appear, reflecting on how he is scared to challenge his fate and stays behind
- Trish is surrounded by chains, reflecting her fate of being disposed by her father, but they ultimately break, reflecting the gangs willingness to challenge fate for her sake
- Giorno changes the chains into vines, reflecting his ability, how he nurtures others and ultimately changes fate
Basically the op spoils Rolling stones without actually spoiling Rolling stones. There is countless stuff like that, DP are the goat.

Honestly Part3 is my absolute favorite. Part of that is because of the changing intros, and the original characters that I could recognize immediately. I also love part4 just as much because of the intro thing, but because it’s always so upbeat and colorful.

When the part 3 opening first changed to having Dio in I nearly screamed lmao, it was so intense to have something different and creative like that come into play, and when they did that too with part 4 with going backwards I remember freaking out so much.
