The first scene, where a maid standing in a cafe, is THE actual maid cafe that Miku (founder of the band) used to work at🕊️

She's looking glum because of the broken cup and plate on the floor. I wish the picture on the wall was a little more in focus, be neat if it was Miku (Himawari = "Sunflower" the name she used while she was a maid in the cafe') in it.

This video was shot in the actual location that used to be one of Miku's old Maid Cafès. In fact the guy playing the Manager is one of her old Managers. The first Maid got pissed off because there was a broken plate on the floor. I'm sure everyone's had one of those days occasionally. Anger can be infections, especially in a high pressure service industry when dealing with the public on a daily basis. You could say that being in BAND-MAID is the After Life that Miku imagined for herself after working in Maid Cafès. I love how the flare somehow turns into colored smoke in the practice room next door.

Guys, do I have a Band-Maid song for you. I don't believe you have heard this one. It is a live Band-Maid video on RUclips. the song is titled Band-Maid "Honkai" SOIN-OFF. The intro from the "Thunder Buddies", MISA, the bassist, and Akane, the drummer is EPIC!!!!! The best way I can describe it is "Funkai Honkai". You WILL love it.

Love this song so much! In the first seen the maid is looking down at broken plates and such... that is clearly enough to make you go mad! :) Thanks for sharing your great reaction! Well done and entertaining.

As a former service industry member, I love, love this video. I think Afterlife refers to Miku's life after her maid cafe job morphed into her current profession, Rock Pigeon.

Is there “life after” Band-Maid? Maybe. But it won't be the same. And I'd miss my aching 10 year smile. Miku's "after life" came once she quit the maid café thing and started Band-Maid. Thank you Miku! And thank you, Lee Jay & Stan, for bringing Band-Maid to your great viewers!

The video is an allegory of the BAND-MAID’s frustration in dealing with the music industry. The first maid with the red bow represents KOBATO, who wears a red rose. The second maid, with the cool demeanor, has a blue bow, as SAIKI wears a blue rose. And so on. The fifth person we meet, the manager, represents AKANE.

There is video of Akane doing the choreography that is going on at the end of this video while Misa watches.
