I don't use the buttons, I use the full on gestures (because I have a Google phone, no other option,) but if I'm being honest, the buttons make more sense than either of the others.
I use these too, really nice to get more screen real estate. However, I would love to use the swipe features similar to iPhone but my phone is too old to get that update :(
Given how big screens are nowadays I still prefer the buttons. They disappear during full screen videos so they're not really obtrusive at all. And swiping is slower than clicking a button, so I never really got why people switched...
Because having the option to swipe back wherever your finger is on the screen and whatever hand you're using your phone with is very practical, especially if you have a tall screen/small hands
I agree, I just wish they didn't take up so much space. I wish there was a way for my phone to just know what I want without me having to have a compromise lol
Please use "one hand operation" on good lock. It's even more convenient than this It can simply use gestures from sides to even pull down notification, screenshot or almost anything you want
Still have the always visible tap buttons, too used to the old physical buttons for them and too "eh" bout it to learn how to properly swipe around to not get the wrong action😂
I still use the three button layout. I'm so used to it that I default to it no matter what phone I use. By the way, I loved your home screen. Are you using a third party launcher? If yes, which one?
Used the 3 bar swipe up gestures for almost 10 years on samsung. The 6.1 u.i got rid of them. I went back to my s22 ultra because I HATE the swipe from the side to go back.
The back button is the most important to me. The ability to swipe from any side is just very convenient for me, I don't want to bend my thumb all the way down there all the time since current phones are much bigger and longer than it used to be
I still use the three buttons. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with swipe gestures, but I prefer the simplicity of the buttons. Plus, I love spamming the back button - swipe to go back would never give the same feel as spamming the back button does! 😂
This is by far my favorite way to use my phone. People get so confused when I hand them my phone but man it frees up more screen space than you'd think
Actually the one hand operation+ app is more powerful than navstar You can customize every swipe gesture like left or right or diagonal up or diagonal down for both left and right I suggest you definitely try it
I much prefer the normal gestures setting and it's for one thing that I've always found an inconvenience, being having to reach all the way down to press back which is used alot more than the home button. This is fine in a couple of cases, but it's quite a hassle in alot more cases depending on what ur doing at that moment. (especially annoying when using one hand) With the gestures' style, I can go back easily by going to anywhere on the side of my screen, which is where my thumb stays when in standby mode. In addition to this it only makes u have 2 points to travel to that serves 3 purposes total (or more like google assistant).
I do!! It's a lot easier than the swiping from the sides, especially with a curved screen like on my Note 10+ imo. It saves the space and from accidentally pressing the buttons.
Yes!! Finally someone that has common sense like me for: A. Using THE correct way of swipe gestures And B. For using an Android, but still appreciating Apple with there iPhones
Don't use the buttons on the bottom! That's how easy you can get screen burn in. Use always gestures. We need an update to also hide the top notifications, like the battery, WiFi, etc icons. Make sure you Never use buttons.
I started using swip from bottom because of you lol, i mean i knew about them from a long time ago But i never tried it and then i started using it and i liked it
Just another reason why Samsung (Android) is the goat... It gives you another layer option of functionality. It doesn't force you into one way of operation.
Tbh I feel they're pointless. If you're going to move your finger there either way, why swipe over a button rather than pressing it? It's like you're getting the limitations of the button version without the benefits. It's weird.
I use that, it gives a bit more of screen space and it's easier to interact with, since when you do the gesture your finger is already in the position to interact with the phone ui.
I like to use buttons because you can do any action with only one click. I also believe that people like gestures because it was introduced in iphone x and back then people were crazy for iphones and android just decided to copy it.
I don't use buttons, but a different gesture navigation. The one is that the video is too unorthodox for me and not intuitive at all. But I can see why people love it so much.
As an Android phone user, i have been using the swipe gesturd for quite a while now. That bottom swipe however looks dope. Hope it becomes available on my phone soon.
