One of the greatest pianist of all times, without any doubt. His interpretation of Lizt and Chopin were among the best of all times. Bravo Sr Bolet por habernos dejado su gran arte.
I heard Bolet play these pieces in London (Goldsmiths Hall, if I remember correctly) at about the time of this recording, and it brings back that wonderful experience. Fiorentino plays them beautifully and his no. 3 is sublime (Bolet somehow "misses" this one), but is surely too reverential in the others, where Bolet finds just the right balance between serenity and passion. Thanks for posting.

Lovely! The more I listen to Bolet, the more I understand his being known as a supreme interpreter of Liszt's works. Thank you for sharing.

I think I am half the views on this video. Puts me to sleep at the end of a long day. Just wanted to say thanks for posting. :-)
Beautiful music. I have tried to play all of these and take it from me they are harder to play than he makes it sound.
It's Bechstein. It sounds 100% like Bechstein and Bolet at the time had an exclusive Bechstein contract, so it better be Bechstein😅
FAIRE LA RÉVÉRENCE À CES 'PRODIGES"!
