Nimrod is such a wonderful piece from Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations. Never imagined it would sound so beautiful when played by the tuba and the euphonium. Great performance indeed.

This is as good a rendition of "Nimrod" as anyone who loves music will ever hear. The blend is marvellous and the pedal Eb on the last chord was perfect. As a church choral conductor, I have arranged this for both the Kyrie and the Agnus Dei. Deeply moving in any setting: organ, full orchestra, choral, and now tuba/ euphonium -- a fitting tribute to all those who are serving ( or, tragically, who have served and been sacrificed) us, when our "leaders " quail in bunkers. Miserere nobis, Domine!
    Dona nobis pacem.

Also, I always said that choosing to play the baritone in the 6th grade was one of the best decisions I ever made! I loved the instrument and even more, the people I met in the following 12 years were simply lovely!

Scott - if you'd care to add a few production notes, it would be greatly appreciated. What software did you use? Did you have to do a lot of clean up on tracks that were submitted? What recording instructions were given to the musicians? Did you specify intonation, horizontal video framing, etc? What a massive project to produce, a big tip of the hat to you all!
