@@CakesbyLynz I live in an extremely humid country, and when I leave my gum paste models to dry out the day ahead it dries out nicely. But the next day it starts to get soften, shiny and sticky to touch. for which I started to add a bit of CMC powder. Is there any way I can prevent this issue without putting CMC powder?
Fiest time today I have made a Rose flower . It was a very experienced to me.

This is the most clear video on roses I've watched. What's the size of the rose cutters used, please?
Hi there, yet again another fab video, quick question, how far in advance can you cut out the petals before doing anything else with them, if they are in a zip up bag? x
Thanks ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
You're welcome 😊
Very informative. How do you make gumpaste ?
Hi 👋
Can I ask where you got your petal veiner from as its not listed in your description. Thanks 😊

Bravo exlent
Thank you so much Meriem

Can you use fondant in place of gum paste? Or is gum paste better to work with for these roses?
Muy buen trabajo quedaron hermosas parecen naturales te veo desde colombia .... entiendo es por los paso a paso seria fenomenal si pudiera enterder tu idioma ...
Hi Erika, I'm so glad you like them. Also adding in subtitles for other languages is something I really want to add and am looking into.
Can i use fondant with tylose instead?
Whaaaaat you mean to tell me I don't need to make rose cones the night before anymore?! Great tutorial!
Hi Stefanie, lol, I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Do you make the rose cones to sit them in whilst they dry? I've always found hanging them upside down has worked really well.
Thanks someone much
You are so welcome David, thank you so much for watching. I hope you will find the tutorial useful if you're making your own roses.
Where do you purchase dummy cakes please ? does the fondant stay soft on them so you can practice displays please?
Please advise how l should dust my rose if l wish to have a lavender colored rose. Should I mix other colours and use a darker lavender colour on the edges
hello i see your modeling paste is very smooth how do you do that. I use renshaw but it breaks very quickly and it doesn't get that thin then it tears all the way out. I wanted to add some vegetable fat is that possible. greetings Rebecca from the Netherlands
Hi Do you leave the wires in all your roses
Like before watching 🙆
Hi, I hope you enjoy the tutorial and it might be useful to you. Thank you so much for watching x
@@CakesbyLynz I really enjoyed watching it .. your art is perfect .. I just adore it ❤️ keep going 🥰
@@mimamak4483 Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it x
😍😍😍😍
Thank you so much. I'm so glad you like them.
Looks so prettyy! What is the difference between gumpaste and fondant??
Hi, with gumpaste you are able to roll it alot thinner than fondant without it ripping. It is also alot more stretchy than fondant and sets completely solid, making it perfect for flowers as they hold their shape.
👍👍👍
Hi, I'm getting lots of bits on my sugar paste when I'm making my flowers, do you have any tips on how to prevent this?
I love you 💜💚❤💜💚❤💜💚❤💜💚❤
👍👍
Can water be a substitute for the edible glue?
It feels very easy
Well understood I'm gonna try thanks for the video
And if it's possible to teach us the gum paste it would be much better
My gum paste when ever I roll into thin it just tare and my rose petals not depending upon the wire now I'm gonna take tips from this and I'm gonna correct it !
Hi Aisha, I'm so glad you have been able to take some tips from the video. I really hope it will be helpful. In regards to the gumpaste I usually buy mine pre-made, but I would love to do a tutorial on how to make it as I know not everyone is able to buy the same gumpaste I use.
@@CakesbyLynzappreciate your reply lunz ma'am
Thanks for the time for replying ❤️
How do you cut it?!
Thanks for sharing 🥰
Btw, do you make your own gumpaste ?

Please do Online cake classes toooo
Hi Sam, I hope you enjoyed the video. What kind of online classes would you like me to make? Are you looking for longer lessons or videos for bigger cakes?
@@CakesbyLynz yh I enjoyed well,bigger cakes...I need
Congratulations! Please help me. This glue is cmc? I don't speak English very well. Thanks
which brand of gum paste are you using? thanks
Hi Ada, For these I'm using the Squires floral paste. I always love to use this one for flowers.
It's a kind request if it's possible can you teach us how to make gumpaste
How much long can I store this cake in room temperature
How do I ensure the core is dried before I start sticking the petals??
Hi Sneha, As you can see in the tutorial I actually use a kitchen blow torch to heat up the wire and stick it into the flower bud. This means you can start working on the rose when the flower bud is still soft. If you wanted to use edible glue to attach the wire instead, then I would leave the flower buds over night to allow them to dry out and for the wire to become secure. Alternatively you can get polystyrene flower buds from some cake decorating shops.
Please tell me gum past recipe
Is gumpaste the same as fondant ?
No, gumpaste is a little different. With gumpaste or floral paste you are able to roll it a lot thinner than fondant without it ripping. This is perfect for making flowers. It also dries completely solid and holds it's shape.
