The most accurate thing is that the American conversations are 1000% longer and have half as much info lmao
Well Australia is just Britain's cousin lol
@@nikhilsuri99 oh wow... burn... 🙄
That's straight horsesh*t. British ppl have the most filler in their convos out of the English speaking countries.
I notice this the most in their sketch comedy it always goes on far too long after the main punchline
@@nikhilsuri99 As is America.
Edit.. Actually Australia and US are like cousins. Britain is the crusty old mum.
"What year are you in? Seven?"
"Yeah, seven"
"....What the fuck"
Is a genuine exchange I've had more than once with each of my parents 😂
Yeah that was insanely accurate 😂
fr tho that unlocked some memories
Easily the most Aussie part of the video, and take it from an old bloke - that's a genuine exchange you'll have with each of your children too :)
The amount of times I heard that or I wasn’t taught it that way
imaginary numbers be year 12 extension 2 maths 0.0
Normal Yoda had such a way with words
Love your work, Joel.
imagine if someone took that wrong and didn't bother trying
yes you are correct, planet of wood forest is safe, it is...
Baby yoda, however, did not.
Agreed 😂
the "i dont even have me glasses" in the aussie homework part was WAY too realistic
OMG I was thinking the same lmao
My dad would say this and then immediately start patting his pockets.
This is literally what I say. 😁
I’m Aussie and when I was 11 and didn’t know my homework and even my dad didn’t know he would say… WHAT THE FUCK ALL THIS FOR AN 11 YEAR OLD!? UR TECHER MUST A FUCKING CUNT
SO TRUE!
Darcy’s acting as the book was brilliant
He was also playing as the glasses but the performance was so good only a few people noticed
Such a good performance..
Don’t forget he was also the Nintendo
Did love his acting there, but I personally thought his acting as the computer was just outstanding
Oh you mean invisible
I'm Chinese Australian so I had a Chinese Dad. I remember my Dad accidentally bumped into a car on the road. The other guy swore at him. My Dad tried to swear like the other guy and it was too embarrassing because he didn't know what he was doing. My Dad was bad at Australian swearing.
Would have been especially embarrassing if he was trying to mimic Aussie Dad's Racial Slurs ( if he was making any ) 🥴😂
The important thing is that he tried
@@kacaubalau2531 Well yes. I was about 20 at the time so being still young, I found whatever my Dad did embarrassing.
sounds like he was integrating nicely.
Now if you dont mind, im off to chastise my local member for taking too much Chinese money for Wind Turbines and Farm land
@@codeisme bloody wind turbines.
5:40 "i don't even have me glasses..." THAT WAS THE MOST ACCURATE LINE OF THIS WHOLE VID
I grew up with a Father who couldn't read or write and when I finished high school I discovered that he could.
Apparently he just didn't like to and as kids we could do all the boring paperwork that parents have to do. On the plus side we could all forge his signature on anything we wanted.
*Speech 100*
Now, your dad is different bread
Different 🍞
Lmao same with the forging signatures. Know both my parents and had to forge a lot throughout school. They knew I was doing it though bc I was always forgetting to give them my letters or stuff I needed signed so they told me to do it myself lmao
thats extrenly wierd
Aussie dads are just built different 🔥
@baby oli what
@@dylbro234 it's a bot that can barely speak English.
Fucin oath
I reckon you’re right but I also remember that most things in Australia happen at least 10 years later than the USA……in this case I’d say 30
Quality content creators combining, what a day to be alive
@baby oli ong
As someone who's never had a dad I agree this is accurate
Hope you get one soon, praying for you 🙏🙏
Hahahaha same here Lol💀
@@dally579 same.
Laughed at you till I realised I don't have one either
Buy one.. Their pritty cheap man..
I remember reading about an American soldier embedded in an Australian army unit in Afghanistan and he said the main thing he learnt from the aussies was how to swear properly!!
Think you got that the other way around
@@skylardoolittle3083 nah
@@skylardoolittle3083 haven't met a lot of aussie soldiers I see
I love how Aussie son has a mustache and Aussie dad doesn’t so it looks like family dynamics are actually switched in Australia.
As an Aussie who lives in the USA at the moment, I can confirm both types of dads
The Austrian seems more like American fathers if ima be real the no fucks given attitude feels American
the one you have for America feels more like what I imagine Canadian dads or 2020 German dads would be like
Agreed the American dad character is more like a Canadian dad I'm more like the Australian dad
@@trolltyrant8344 it's definitely a midwestern type dad
@@trolltyrant8344 Think you meant *Australian. Imagine getting that confused with Austria, oof.
@@MeigsmerlinMeigsmerlin it's definitely a liberal dad. Wouldn't last a day in Montana or Texas. Maybe Kansas.
the "what year are you in?" "i dont have my glasses" and "what the fuck" was all so accurate
"lets go pay him a visit" those words are always so passive aggressive. I have had this happen more than once the amount of panic you feel LMAO
I love being Australian 😅 the randomness we come up with and the casual way of talking we don’t need to be civil!
Yall are apparently beyond civil and more like subservient these days. It shows by the way your gov. Has you all locked down on your knees begging 4 the jab. The days of the legendary rough and tumble Aussie Male have long gone I guess. And to think once upon a time woman glowed and men chundered.
Happy being a bogan? :P
@@adamannear the difference is bogans have tatoos
The guy playing the American dad should really take up acting that dude was killing it 😂
As an Aussie with an American father, I can confirm this is accurate.
Darcy acting as the drinks, the laptop, the bamboo, the book, the glasses and the hats was brilliant he deserved an Oscar
Honestly pretty accurate
I do wish my Australian dad was as nice as the one shown here. No physical abuse, emotional manipulation and no forcing children to assist with tax evasion because dad doesn’t know how a computer works sounds like a much better childhood
Jesus fucking Christ
Mood. My Aus dad was more abusive to my mum tho. And he was lazy af. Didn't work or do anything
No offense but he'd be what we call in an Australia a drop kick. My apologies that your Mum chose a drop kick for a partner. They aren't hard to miss verse the non drop kicks so he may have played her (sorry for your troubles).
@@samanthahughes5590 the thing is... some guys seem nice, lure in a partner, and then slowly become an a**hole. It happens slow enough that the partner doesn't realise it's manipulation/abuse until much later... if at all.
I know because it happened to me 🙃
Edit: also, a recent study revealed that Australian men are among the worst in all western countries. In my experiences, I agree
@@dodgyyeti532 Sadly you get them everywhere. Unfortunately some women are just as bad. I guess that's what happens when you remove God from your life and only seek instant sexual gratification. The price for that gratification seems to be hurting people who genuinely want a connection with that abusive person. It's sad and painful, but most people these days fall for sweet little lies all the time. It's called a honey trap and both sex's play that game at times. We also call it flirting. Sadly you can't really do anything about it. But do pray that that person learns their lessons soon so they can stop being toads.
I’m not good at anything
🥲
I'm still very proud of you babe
As an aussie, I can verify that this is completely accurate.
Me too
I'm from QLD and honestly it's 💯
I'm not convinced that you're a real aussie, you didn't end your sentence with cunt or but, cunt
As an American, I can say that this is not accurate
As an aussie father of two girls, my knuckles are sore from beating up other dads
As an English expat it's honestly a delight to hear my dad swearing more and more every day here in aus
One of us! One of us! One of us!
I was walking my sons home from primary school may years ago, when they were, say, 10 and 7, and some slightly older girls were walking ahead of us; we could hear them speaking very profanely ahead of us. When one of the girls loudly said “fucking asshole”, I had to step in.
“Oy,” I said.
“Sorry,” said the girl.
“So you should be,” I said. “We’re Australians. We don’t say “fucking asshole’, we say “fucking arsehole.’ Get it right next time. Silly cunt.”
I half expected the American dad to pull out a gun when the daughter mentioned she had a boyfriend. Especially one who came out of juvie.
When you got to the language bit, I was like “Oh no, Aussies and swearing… brace yourself!”
Good old father son bonding for us aussies. Don't know what they're doing.
sadly, true.
As someone on both sides of the table. This was wayyy too accurate.
How can u be on both sides of the table. Or is half ur house in America and the other half in Australia? What county is this in I would love to visit
Born in perth raised in California and chicago came back to Perth in 2010 and been here ever since. So I'm accustomed to both the american and Australian way.
@@borrisbender8053 you are really slow
@@DipseyDex bro it feels like they switched out America dads with Canadian dads
To be honest
I had no idea 'shit' meant "doodoo out the butt"; what a great informative dad!
This is the best thing I've ever seen...Swearing is the national language in Australia basically😂
Fuck off dude, thats bullshit
I was expecting the seppo to give lessons on running in zig zag patterns during a shooting and the Ozzie dad giving lessons on how to cheat at drinking games.
I grew up without a dad in Australia.
...probably for the best.
Nahhhhh it’s never boring! 🤣
fr
As an Aussie, Cherdley is elite, and Joel got Doo Doo out the butt! without cracking is 100% accurate, Americans can be doing that.
Talking on a Nintendo of all things 🤣🤣
this guy is hilarious
I'm an Australian that grew up in a family where swearing wasn't okay and I never really got into sports or drinking.
I'm a freak of nature.
This is not real
That's what happens when you're raised by Lesbians :)
You are not an Australian
Fucken hell.....at least tell us you bashed a few c*nts in your day!
What is the fucking country coming too?
@@MichaelJP people don't usually want to fight me being 6'4. 2 guys did pick a fight with me once, I went in ready for it but after realising their punches didn't hurt me I just kind of laughed it off not really worth it.
5:40 " I don't even have my glasses" 😂
“What year are you in”
“Year seven”
“What the fuck?”
Literally my dad said exactly that
Omg the homework part was spot on, the shared trauma was real
The Americans never ever have a name.
It's dad, daughter and son.
I'm an American son older than both of these dads. My old man barely drank, didn't swear, and never strictly speaking punished us. When we screwed up, he would get quite. The following weekend, he'd wake us up about 7 am, and we would start a project. Clean the gutters, spend the day running a rototiller, build a fence, paint the house, clean the garage, wash the windows. And if we didn't have a project, the old neighbor lady always needed something done. Our house was modest, but with three rambunctious sons, it was always neat as a pin.
"Doodoo out the butt" I'm losing it over here 😅
The netendo switch hits crazy
The swearing is real downunder 😅😂 lit reminded me of my dad and me and my siblings
05:25 Hilarious, lost it there ! 😂😂
Dowlo your videos are some of the most entertaining vids on RUclips keep it up mate!
The Aussie dads are too real 😂
Just gotta say the aussie dad is the most relatable thing
I love the articles of clothing used for hair. Lol!
I swear to god Australia is just the Texas and Florida of the British empire 💀

As an Aussie dad , i can relate
'Heyyy language!!' such a classic line
As an Aussie I can relate to this
The math homework is spot on
You got the Wisconsin accent down!!
This was my parents trying to help me with my math as a kid.
hey aussies just wanted to say from a brit although youre shite at cricket youre still our favorite colony!
i take EXTREME OFFENSE at that and i don't even like cricket
I was in a nightclub in Peru once and when the group of locals we were talking to found out we were Australian they’re like “TEACH US HOW TO SWEAR!” 😂😂
We need a part 2 to this
"Where's my next destination? I dunno, wherever Centrelink sends me" :D
The "i dont even have my glasses" has happened multiple times just today to me
This is so true, coming from Australia I can approve
As a person who with no dad this is very accurate
American here... My dad was definitely closer to the Australian dad. His approach to the swearing scenario was: swear so much, you make it uncool for your kid to swear. Also, if I lost a sporting event, my dad would just tell me everything I did to contribute to that loss.
The only thing I could somewhat relate to was the homework scenario. My dad used to do some coloring (colouring) for my artsy assignments 😂
This was a great collab. I love Cherdleys, Joel, and Lachlan, so this was an easy sub from me 👍
Which part of the country you from? All the dads in my area were closer to Aussie dad....if they were around lol
I just noticed at 2:52 the Australian son was using a Nintendo Switch to call and speak to Damian. 😄
This is the crossover I never asked for but always wanted
Burns finger for the second time: DOH! Sugar honey ice tea
