Epic big screen animated drama....it still works, still endures since its 1984 release. The artwork and music track...still this excellent.

Indeed. In both Robotech and Macross, she's definitely the better woman. I mean come on, later in this movie Minmei's reaction to being asked to sing that song or they'd all die was just childish and pathetic. His brother and a lot of his friends died to save her life, and because his girlfriend was the one to find that song she refuses to sing it? A slap was the least she deserved. And even then, she only really agreed because her parents would be mad at her. Like, WTF.
@@evanboll4651 people tends to forget how flippant and selfish Minmay is. Since the 1st interaction when Hikaru accidently broke minmay house and her room in 1st encounter of zentradi, i've quite dislike how very unbalanced between Minmay and Hikaru is. Like, Minmay constantly demanded Hikaru to understand her and be her "prince in white steed".

honestly I had extreme doubts of Minmay being good when her cousin came along, like......damn, can't exactly get with a cousin fucker now can we? or better yet should we?

I watch this movie (And the tv series) to see minmay, but instead i end up rooting for misa in the end( both in the series and movie)
Their eyes remind me of precious moments, lol. Not a bad thing, quite darling and cute trademark of 80s anime. It just looks more... organic the way they're drawn.

AngelicDetective86 yes I noticed when she was walking out and finishing getting dressed, but as far they new at the time they were all that was left of humanity and the need to relieve tension was probably high for the both of them
They may have just woken up, many think they have had sex, but there is no confirmation.

Although nothing has been confirmed, and Misa/Lisa might have said, "I just want to be held," I really doubt that nothing happened.

No, we don't. We really don't. :x (watch the main sdf series and you'll definitely understand why). Minmay is considerably more sympathetic in the movie, but Hikaru still ended up with the correct girl (Misa) regardless (thank goodness).
