Sr. Mary Grace makes an excellent point about letting go and letting God. I have said silent prayers when I eat or when I wake up and at the end of my day. I know as long as God is there, things will work out.

I had an absolutely horrible morning today. I couldn't stop crying at every little thing. I reached out to friends, and their love and support just made me cry more. I'd like to try this during Lent this year. No tech / social media for the first and last hour, and to be with Him especially during a time that reflects Jesus' time in the desert.

About two years ago, I deleted every social media app from my phone and I only check my Facebook account for about an hour, total, per week. And most of that is groups that I am in that are part of my at home business. I spend almost no time on the computer other than what is absolutely necessary for work. The amount of peace that I have now compared to a couple of years ago cannot even be measured as someone in her 60s who spent 15 years in marketing and hours every day monitoring social media, I can honestly say that it is mostly a waste of time and energy, and Das farther away from God in most cases. Yes, there are some positive aspects of social media and connecting with like-minded Catholic groups. But, in all honesty, I have not found them to be as helpful in my personal devotion as quiet time with the Lord or watching informational RUclips videos.

Great message. We love Sr Mary Grace. I was episcopalian and was deceived for many years by that church which teaches sin is okay by the women ministers who don't believe the Bible is entirely true, but we finally let God in and saw the lies of the anglican church and are 'Going Home to Rome'.
Just remember they are still your neighbors. Also, maybe chat with your priest or RCIA team about understanding the Bible from a Catholic lens.

Heavenly Father, only you know the burdens I face. As a single mom I’m struggling to make ends meet. Lord give me strength to get through each day. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. It’s difficult to raise children alone. BUT I keep faith Lord Jesus. Even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I’m so ashamed. Jesus deliver me from my anxieties, and my troubles. Heal me from my lupus and heart disease. Help me to find strength when I am weak, And hope when I am afraid. Amen. 😢

This is really inspirational. I'm thinking my mobile phone might be what I give up for Lent 😊
Lately I've been saving one hour almost everyday before sleep to just be with God, pray, talk to Him. I started to experience a deeper sense of peace in my daily tasks which I've been wondering how could it possibly be since I have so many worries. I want to keep it up but I'm afraid of spiritual dry times when I can't say a single prayer, start drifting off from Mass during the week days and become more selfish in my choices.

We should pray in the 1st and the last part of our day even tough it’s pretty hard though but
As a Muslim when my day starts I pray 1st at 4:49 am and then do my work and as the day ends at 8:14pm I pray the last prayer of the day and wrap thing up.
But we not only pray in the morning and at night but we also pray in the evenings as well. And if you combine all the prayers time it’s probably like close to an hour in a day pretty healthy.
It keeps your graph levelled and you just don’t get lost in the middle part of your day.
That’s also really beneficial. :)
