Hey folks! Join me tonight from my backyard in Scotland as I complete another astrophotography project on the famous Dark Shark Nebula, in the constellation of Cepheus!
This was a new target for me and I want to get some more imaging time on it with my telescope, but any time photographing space is always fun, especially with the rare clear skies that we get here in the UK!
Hope you enjoy the video and clear skies to you all!

ASTRO QUESTION OF THE DAY: Have you ever tried to shoot a dark nebula before? Tell us which one in the comments below! :)
Wonderful! Always love to see it, sweet nebula.
Thanks so much, mate! Looking forward to getting more time on this target! Have a great day! :)
Excellent image of the Shark. I think dark nebulae are quite hard to process. I've image the Dark Wolf nebula, Carona Australis and the Doodad nebula and found them all a challenge to process.
Thanks so much, Logan! Appreciate the comments mate and yes, enjoyed taking on the new challenge of the dark stuff! Lol! Hope you're well and have a great weekend, buddy! :)
Excellent image mate nicely done
Thanks so much, mate! Really want to get more data on it, but was happy what I got out of one short session...cheers for tuning in and have a great weekend! :)
Very nicely done
Thanks so much, Anthony! Appreciate the comments and thanks for tuning in! :)
Great image . I must try this one in the near future. Sub and liked 👍.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed my image and thanks for your lovely comments...best of luck with your capture! :)
Your scope is great, mount is great and camera, and tri-pier is solid.
why does high flying astrophotographer like you need sheeit ASAir?
Lol! Cheers Ana! I have an Eagle, two mini PCs and a few ASIAIR versions, so I like to swap them about depending on what I'm shooting...think they're all great in their own way and each one has worked really well for me...thanks for tuning in and have a great day! :)
@@scotiaastro Ok. But, they cost money. Why to have so many? I noted you have tons of telescopes as well. Oh well, i keep different approach: better one, but very good one.
