The MTP-1302 is one of Casio's greatest models. It is both stylish and versatile. Works alternatively as a beater, field or dress watch and is an absolute strap monster.

I have them both. The black dial looks great too. Its more dark gray than black and has an awesome sunburst. I like the black equally if not better than the Tiffany.

I have a small collection of Swiss watches, nothing fancy. Older, used models. Let me tell you though, as much as I love my vintage Omega Seamaster, I have a few Casios that spend just as much time on my wrist. They are a fantastic brand with great horological history.
Casio makes a lot of well made great looking watches that everyone can afford. My beater is an mdv-106 that has been in the ocean and through the mountians and it still looks and works great.

I bought this for my partner for valentine's day! I believe this particular band mentioned in the video is made of brass construction, the rose gold alternative I sought out was made from stainless steel, nothing wrong with either but it was just a preference thing! I think the rose gold accentuates the "Tiffany" blue better than a standard polish, love the content and thank you for the well produced video!
Brass will deterioate on your wrist and turn it Green significantly reducing it's lifespan!

Love the review, Casio seems to be on track with some nice dress alternatives this year. Also like that you can have a 12k sub, an omega and still show some love to a reasonably priced dress watch. That’s a watch lover for sure.

Casio makes pure class watches. I recently bought the Casio Duro and I'm loving it.
I managed to buy it from an European vendor and it is as good as it looks, love it.
Another great video! Somehow It looks and sits better on the wrist than around a cushion… The Tsuyosa in a green dial is calling my name for the last couple of months….

The TISSOT prx is a smart watch indeed, but the CASIO at a tenth of the price imo is terrific VALUE, and it looks lovely on.

It's amazing that they hung on the way they did. Of course, Swiss watches shine when they are needed for performance. That's what kept them alive.

@@neelaymt yes it is the jubilee style. Actually you can use the Casio endlinks if you find a bracelet that fits in that middle part of the endlink correctly. I used a Seiko 5 bracelet, which was originally a 19mm jubilee style. There is a little play and it does not fit 100% in between the mid part of the Casio endlink. But it works for me.
I put this on my wishlist, a great looking casio watch!

Mine is from Edifice Lineup EFR S567D 2AVDF with blue dial. Really catching my eyes. It's now been discontinued.

Amazing value for money. If you like this style of watch: go for it. I think it is a great watch.
It's not for me though - I don't like these bezels since they are too shiny for my taste.
The font used for "WR50" is close to ITC Bookman, sort of in the same class as Times and indeed not very fitting on this dial. They should have stuck to Eurostile, which is used elsewhere on the watch.

How small? The size of the watch is fairly small.
So I wouldn't take it over the Seiko or PRX auto, but Hell I'm all in over the PRX quartz

If it was a solar watch that cost 30-50€ more it would of been the nicest VFM of the decade.
The scalpers are at work with this watch, it's selling for over $300 in many cases.

You can't go wrong with $50 really, a meal for 2 is $70 USD.. no brainer here. Great for starters, young guys and people who don't have big budgets
I have both the black dial new Tiffany color in this watch. Don't sell the black dial short. It is actually dark gray with sunburst. The online pictures don't do it justice. In person, it looks great. I got the Tiffany color about 2 months ago when they released it. I paired it with a silver mesh bracelet. From 2 feet away it looks like $10,000 watch. Gotta love Casio!

Nice review and pretty good for $50!! Embarrassingly for Tissot (in my opinion) is that the particular watch you are showcasing here has a seconds hand that hits more markers than the Tissot PRX I bought and subsequently sold. My OCD could not handle how bad it was. I could wear this Casio but would definitely change the bracelet due to my excessively hairy arm syndrome!😁
